Objective:Making comparison of the differences of the incidence, clinicopathologic characteristics and prognosis of female breast cancer patients of main nationality in Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous region. Method: Collecting the 2138 female patients’ clinic material hospitalized of the Xinjiang Medical University Cancer Hospital in the year of2010 to 2014. It makes a retrospective analysis the difference of the demographic characteristic, clinicopathologic characteristics, treatment and prognosis of female patients with breast cancer from Han, Uygur and Kazak nationalities. Result: Compared with the patients with breast cancer from Han nationality, female patients from Uygur and Kazak nationalities have significant statistical difference(P<0.05): such as living environment/regional distribution: patients from Han nationality mainly live in the city; while patients from Uygur and Kazak nationalities mainly live in rural areas, among them patients of Uygur nationality mostly live in Southern Xinjiang area and patients from Kazak nationality mainly from northern Xinjiang area; demographic characteristic(obstetrical history): overweight, early marriage, early child-bearing, many bearings and long-term lactation; tumor characteristics: late neoplasm staging, mainly characterized by hormone receptor negative and Basal-like breast cancer with high proportion; treatment: it is treated mainly by modified radical surgery, which has bad compliance/treatment compliance.Nationality, molecular typing, stage at diagnosis and endocrine therapy can influence the independent prognostic factor(P<0.05) of the total survival rate and disease-free rate of female patients from different nationalities; Lactation period, age of menarche and ways of surgery can all influence the independent diagnostic factor(P<0.05), which influences the disease-free rate. Conclusion: There are obvious differences of the female patientswith breast cancer from Han, Uygur and Kazak nationalities in the aspect of living environment, obstetrical condition and the clinicopathologic characteristics of tumor and treatment ways and compliance and so on. Compared with patients of Han nationality, patients with breast cancer from Uygur and Kazak nationalities have bad total prognosis situation. Differences of different nationalities can provide important clinic guide for judging the prognosis of patients and I hope it can provide basis for mapping out the prevention, screening and treatment in ethnic minority areas in future.
