| Objective Colorectal cancer can be divided into the right side colon cancer,left side colon cancer and rectal cancer,we analyze the clinical manifestations,pathologic characteristics,and prognosis of different anatomic subsite of colorectal cancer,provided the basis for understanding and mastery of colorectal cancer,and colorectal cancer prevention to provide scientific data and theoretical basis.Methods Retrospectively collected a total of 270 patients with colorectal cancer in the First Affiliated Hospital of Fujian Medical University,which primarily diagnosed from January 2013-December 2015,these include 50 cases of right half colon cancer,66 cases of left colon cancer,rectal cancer in 154 cases.We analyzes the clinical pathological features of the different parts of the colorectal cancer and prognosis of colon cancer,discussing and comparing the results with domestic and foreign literature research.Result In colorectal cancer patients,the proportion of older people is higher than middle-aged,middle age is higher than the proportion of young people.Age composition ratio has significant difference(P < 0.05),the right colon cancer are more likely to occur in elderly group.Pathological type,histological type,TNM staging in colorectal cancer are significantly different(P < 0.05),the structure of the right side colon cancer is the highest in the ulcer type and infiltrating type group.Compared with the left side colon cancer and rectal cancer,the pathological types of right side colon cancer is relatively low differentiated,Poorly differentiated adenocarcinoma and mucous adenocarcinoma of colon cancer and other types cancers were higher than the proportion of the left colon and rectum.Right half colon cancer stage III and IV ratio is higher than the left half colon and rectal cancer,left half colon cancer stage II ratio is higher than the right colon and rectal cancer,rectal cancer in stage I is higher than that of colon cancer.The mean survival time of right side colon cancer was 49.779 months,statistically significantly compared with the mean survival time(39.210 months)of left side colon cancer(Log-Rank P = 0.047).Right half colon cancer,1,3,5 year survival rates were lower than the left half colon.An analysis by the COX proportional hazards model showed that tumor site,pathological type,TNM staging are independent factors affect prognosis of colon cancer.There are different clinical characteristics and prognosis in different subsite of colorectal cancer.Older people are susceptibility to colon cancer,especially right ride colon cancer,while young and middle-aged patients with rectal cancer more.The right side colon cancer has more atypical clinical manifestation,lower degree of differentiation,high ratio anemia and later stage TNM,which means the right side colon cancer has worse prognosis.Tumor site,pathological type,TNM staging are independent risk factors of colon cancer. |
