Objective:This study aimed at understanding of Grade 5-6 students’ oral health the relevant knowledge, attitude and behavior in Chang Chun,check the gingival bleeding and analyze the influencing factors. To provide scientific evidence for the further study of comprehensive health intervention strategies for, for health and education departments to develop oral health education policy, perfect our country school oral health education intervention measures to provide a scientific basis.Methods:Reference the third national oral health epidemiological survey scheme and oral health survey method, questionnaire to 2572 primary school students who from Changchun City 14 regional 5-6th grade and oral examination for gingival bleeding, and to strict quality control. The questionnaire includes 33questions: basic personal information, dietary habits, oral hygiene knowledge,oral hygiene knowledge source, oral hygiene attitude and oral hygiene behavior.Using the CPI probe for the oral examination, to detective the six teeth of the buccal mesial 、buccal median、buccal distal and lingual median 4 points and observe gingival bleeding. Using Epidata 3.1 software for data double entry,SPSS19.0 software for statistical analysis, P<0.05 has statistical significance.Results: The students of Grade 5-6 in Changchun comprehensive accuracy rate of oral health-related knowledge(answer all the questions correctly) was0.7%,comprehensive positive rate of correlation attitude was 66.9%, good related behavioral synthesis rate of 0.4%.There was no significant difference between oral health knowledge and the different demographic characteristics;there were statistically significant differences between oral health attitudes and different gender, different grade,different region, whether the only child(P<0.05);there was no significant difference between oral health behavior all good and the different demographic characteristics.The number of bleeding gums was 1029,and the detection rate was 40%. Students bleeding gums detection rate in different regions have significant(p <0.001), a comprehensive oral health related cognitive attitude has a positive significant effect(p <0.01) for the detection rate of bleeding gums,there were significant differences between the frequency of eating candy / chocolate and detection rate of gum bleeding(p <0.05).The four factors(live in rural areas 、 brushing bleeding is normal 、 the periodic oral examination is not necessary、medical treatment is not good behavior)are risk factors for bleeding gums.Conclusion:Pupils’ oral health knowledge is not comprehensive,oral health consciousness is good, and their oral health behaviors are not ideal in Changchun; The influencing factors of oral health knowledge were gender, grade,urban and rural, whether the one-child. Gingival bleeding detection rate compared with the national survey results on the lower side. The influence factors were eating candy/chocolate, brushing habits, medical behavior, flossing behavior, using the fluoride toothpaste, residence.The proposed oral health education courses are included in the nine year compulsory education, while the relevant health departments to carry out health education and publicity, to jointly promote the oral health of primary school students.
