Objectives:Through the survey of cancer-related fatigue(CRF) and hope in lung cancer patients in Changchun,to understand the current status of CRF and hope in lung cancer patients;Research the impact of general demographic information and clinical information on lung cancer patients’ CRF and hope;Analyze the correlation between lung cancer patients’ CRF and hope;Discuss the main influencing factors of lung cancer patients’ CRF;To make rational psychological intervention measures, increasing lung cancer patients’ hope level, reducing lung cancer patients’ CRF.Methods:We investigated 240 lung cancer patients in three 3-A general hospitals in Changchun by the method of convenience sampling.A general demographic survey scale,a piper fatigue scale-revised and a herth hope index were included in the questionnaires.Epidata 3.1data management software was used to enter the data into computer.Statistical Package for the Social Sciences(SPSS) 13.0 for Windows was used to perform the statistical analyses.Data analysis included descriptive statistics,t-test,one-factor analysis of variance,Pearson’s correlation analysis and multiple stepwise regression analysis.Results:1.The results showed that the overall CRF score for the lung cancer patients was5.63±0.902,belong to a moderate fatigue level, accounting for 88.7% lung cancer patients. In the score of each dimension, the behavior of dimensions average score was5.67±0.978,this dimension 88.2% of lung cancer patients was at model fatigue level.Emotional dimension average score was 6.16±1.146,70.9% of lung cancer patients was at moderate fatigue; The highest score of physical perception dimension,it was 6.93±1.105,61.1% of lung cancer patients was at severe fatigue;Cognitive dimension average scores was the lowest,it was 4.05±1.127,a majority of lung cancerpatients was at moderate fatigue level.2.The results of one-factor analysis of variance showed that the differences of lung cancer patients’ CRF in age, educational level, clinical stage, treatment, with or without comorbidities, with or without pain, and sleep condition had statistical significance(P<0.05).3.The total HHI score for the lung cancer patients was 36.22±2.641.In the score of each dimension, average score of "positive attitude towards the reality and future" was 11.33±0.930;Average score of "taking positive action" was 12.37±0.894; "Maintain a close relationship with others" got the highest score,it was 12.52±1.398.Overall lung cancer patients’ HHI score was at the middle level and above,65% of lung cancer patients located at higher level.4.The results of one-factor analysis of variance showed that the differences of lung cancer patients’ hope in age, clinical stage, with or without comorbidities, with or without pain, and sleep condition had statistical significance(P<0.05).5.Correlation analysis showed that lung cancer patients’ CRF score was negatively correlated with the hope, and each dimension of CRF was negatively correlated with hope.6.The results of multiple stepwise regression analysis showed that HHI score, age, clinical stage and with or without pain were the influencing factors of lung cancer patients’ fatigue, which could explain 34.0% of the total variation. The lower of the HHI score, the lower of the hope level, then, more serious of the CRF;The older, more serious of the CRF;More serious of clinical stage, the higher of CRF score;More serious of the pain, more severity of the CRF.Conclusions:1.Lung cancer patients exhibited with a high level of fatigue, age, educational level, clinical stage, treatment, with or without comorbidities, with or without pain, and sleep condition were the influencing factors of lung cancer patients’ CRF.2.Lung cancer patients’ hope exhibited with a middle and above level, age, clinical stage, with or without comorbidities, with or without pain, and sleep condition were the influencing factors of lung cancer patients’ hope.3.Negative correlation had been found that lung cancer patients’ CRF score was negatively correlated with hope, and each dimension of CRF was negatively correlated with hope,too.4.Hope level, age, clinical stage, with or without pain were the main influencing factors of lung cancer patients’ CRF.
