Objective:This study was to investigate the psychological state of patients with POF, and analyze the regularity of TCM syndrome type and general condition, psychological status. The method of emotional factors combined with TCM syndrome differentiation was used to research the internal connection. The clinicians should pay attention to emotional factors in the diagnosis and treatment of POF in the future, in order to improve the patient’s emotional symptoms, then improve the treatment effect of the patients.Methods:110 POF patients were randomly selected, then used a unified TCM syndromes questionnaire to investigate. The self rating Anxiety Scale (SAS) and self rating Depression Scale (SDS) were used as a psychological evaluation index. The SPSS18 was used to make statistical analysis.Results:(1)110 cases of POF patients:The prevalence of anxiety and depression and both coexisting was 34.55% and 38.18% and 57.27% respectively. The average score of anxiety and depression was 45.37±8.69 points and 46.69±9.19 points respectively. The prevalence of anxiety and depression of POF patients was higher than normal person.(2) 110 cases of POF patients:The education degree, course of disease, intensity of pressure, sleep quality, fertility requirements, and the symptoms had correlation with anxiety/depression scores(P< 0.05). The higher the level of education, the longer the course of disease, the greater the pressure, the worse the sleep quality, related fertility problems could cause the higher anxiety/depression score.(3) 110 cases of POF patients:age, occupation, FSH and E2 levels had no correlation with anxiety/depression scores (P>0.05).(4) using the multi factor non conditional Logistic regression analysis, results showed that duration and intensity of pressure were the risk factors of POF patients with anxiety. Course, sleep quality, pressure strength and the symptoms of POF patients were the risk factors associated with depression.(5) The most common TCM syndrome of 110 POF patients with anxiety/ depression was kidney deficiency and liver qi stagnation syndrome, accounted for 44.74%,47.62%. This was followed by liver kidney yin deficiency syndrome, liver qi stagnation syndrome. Further research on the relationship between anxiety/ depression level and TCM syndrome type, we could find that kidney deficiency and liver qi stagnation syndrome had correlation with statistical significance of syndrome of stagnation of liver qi deficiency and anxiety/depression scores (P< 0.05).(6) The most common TCM syndrome of 110 POF patients with anxiety/ depression was kidney deficiency and liver qi stagnation syndrome, this suggested that POF patients could be treated with the "kidney tonifying liver qi stagnation" method, if using the emotion intervention at the same time, we maybe improve the clinical efficacy in the treatment of this disease.Conclusions:(1) The prevalence of anxiety and depression for POF patients was higher.(2) the POF patients’anxiety/depression scores had correlation with level of education, duration, intensity of pressure, sleep quality, fertility problems.(3) The duration and intensity of pressure were the risk factors of POF patients with anxiety. Course, sleep quality, pressure strength and the symptoms of POF patients were the risk factors associated with depression.(4) The most common TCM syndrome of 110 POF patients with anxiety/ depression was kidney deficiency and liver qi stagnation syndrome, this syndrome get the highest score.(5) The psychological and emotional factors were closely related to the POF, in the future we should pay attention to psychological factors, if treating the POF patients with the emotion intervention therapy at the same time, we maybe improve the clinical efficacy in the treatment of this disease.
