The Clinical Effect Observation About Cervical Vertigo Of Retention Of Phlegmatic Dampness Type Treated By Banxia Baizhu Tianma Decoction

Objective:To analyze the mechanism of Banxia Baizhu Tianma Decoction in treating retention of phlegmatic dampness type of cervical vertigo,and provide a reference method for TCM syndrome differentiation in treating cervical vertigo by comparing the clinical efficacy of Banxia Baizhu Tianma Decoction soup and Betahistine Mesilate Tablets in treating retention of phlegmatic dampness type of cervical vertigo.Methods:Adopt the random grouping principle, the 60 clinical cases of retention of phlegmatic dampness type of cervical vertigo patients were divided into Banxia Baizhu Tianma Decoction treatment group and Betahistine Mesilate Tablets group, and observe the symptoms, signs and changes of improvement time of vertigo.Results:(1) Compared the clinical efficacy of the two groups after 4 weeks treatment, results showed:the treatment group got a control rate of 60%, the total effective rate was 93.3%; and the control group got a control rate of 40%, the total effective rate was 90%. About the control rate difference between the two groups was statistically significant (P<0.05), the treatment group proved to be better than the control group.(2) Compared the vertigo improvement time, degree, long-term follow-up result, Chest tightness, Nausea, Vomiting phlegm and Tongue fur after the treatment between the two groups, results showed:the treatment group had significant differences compared with the control group, the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05),the treatment group proved to be better than the control group.(3) Compared the improving signs before and after treatment, results showed:Both of the two groups were not good at improving the neck flexion test, neck rotation test, the neck-shoulder pain and other signs.Conclusion:It proved Banxia Baizhu Tianma Decoction had certain advantages on improving symptoms of patients who got retention of phlegmatic dampness type of cervical vertigo, through the indicators of clinical observation. It also proved that the concept of TCM syndrome differentiation has positive guidance in treating cervical vertigo. Drying dampness and Strengthening the spleen, eliminating phlegm to stop vertigo, Shujin Tongluo to stop vertigo, expelling wind to stop vertigo, Promoting blood circulation to stop vertigo are the possible main mechanism of Banxia Baizhu Tianma Decoction in the treatment of retention of phlegmatic dampness type of cervical vertigo.
