The Construction Of Core Competence Evaluation Index System For Orthopaedic Specialized Nurse

Objective: According tothe related literature of nurse core competence evaluation index system all over the word and the principles of orthopaedic nursing theoretical guidance, this study aimed to build the orthopedic specialized nurses core competence evaluation index system for nurse training, examination and evaluation.Methods:(1)By using the literature retrieval method, the brainstorming method, the draft of core competence evaluation index for orthopedic specialized nurse was build by literature study, group discussion, and expert interview.(2)Thirty-five experts from ClassⅢ GradeⅠhospital in Chongqing, Beijing, Jiangshu, and etc were consulted by a two-round Delphi survey, and 66 advices from 15 experts were analyzed. The authority of experts, the concentration degree of expert opinion and the coordination degree of expert for all levels of indexs are made a statistic analysis by the authority coefficient, mean,standard deviation, coefficient of variation, coordination coefficient.(3)The third round Delphi survey was consulted, the evaluation indexes are judged by AHP in which the experience of expert that is carried out a quantitative study, at the same time the judgment matrix is tested by the consistency check. And the results are summarized.Results:After the three rounds Delphi survey was consulted, the evaluation indexesat every level were resorted and classified. Corresponding index were added, deleted and revised respectively based on 54 adopted expert opinion.We build up a Core competence evaluation index system of orthopedics specialist nurse with 4 primary index, 14 second indicators and 72 third indicators included. Weight coefficient of every level index were valued by analytic hierarchy process. Expert opinion of all level index were presented in Concentration degree analysis with importance assignment of all index over 3.5, coefficient of variation under 0.25 and the rate of full mark index over 50% reached66.7%.Coordination degree analysis of expert opinion of all level index demonstrated that Coordination coefficient of primary index, second indicators and third indicators were0.390、0.324、0.308 respectively with significantStatistical difference of which Chi square test P value under 0.05.Authority coefficient and Judging coefficient of Expert opinion was0.794 and 0.872 respectively.Conclusion: This evaluation system may promote the staged professional development of orthopedics specialist nurse and be meaningful for further trend of specialization and refinement in the field of orthopedics nursing.
