Objective:Knowing about the TCM syndrome distribution characteristics of women who are from 40-60 years old living in Wanbailin community Taiyuan helps to lay a foundation for the standardization, normalization of syndrome and clinical diagnosis and treatment.Methods:The author adopted the method of random sampling. And the object are 228 women diagnosed with syndrome. Besides that the author conducted epidemiological cross-sectional analysis in the form of questionnaire survey. The author applied SPSS17.0 to frequency and relative statistical analysis.Results:1. There are 146 patients who are menopause syndrome, and 142 patients who are postmenopausal.The age of patients is from 40-60 years old, and the average age is 49.57±4.7 years old.2. The usual symptoms are as follows: hot flushes and sweat out, anxiety, insomnia, paracenesthesia, tiredness, dizziness. The patients with menopause syndrome is more tired and headachy, but less hot flushed and sweat out.3. It is often said that the women with menopause Syndrome have the troubles as follows: After menstrual cycle wrong, less than half of the quantity, the dark red blood, with abnormal blood clots, loss of libido, unusual leucorrhea.Compared to the postmenopausal patients, menopausal patients have more unusual leucorrhea and less loss of libido.4. In addition to the main disease syndrome sweating(99.7%), Chinese medicine symptom frequency above 80% are:(94.8%) forgetful, irritability(92.4%), fatigue(86.5%),concentration(83.3%), s oreness and weakness of waist and knees(83%), anxiety(80.6%). kidney and liver hold the mostly symptoms.5. It is proved that traditional Chinese medicine syndrome type holds the proportion from high to low: kidney Yin and Yang deficiency type(26.4%), Yin deficiency of kidney type(23.6%), Yin deficiency of liver and kidney type(22.2%), liver stagnation(11.1%), Yang deficiency of spleen and kidney type(7.4%), Yang deficiency of kidney type(6.7%), incoordination of heart and kidney type(2.5%). The patients with perimenopausal syndrome of Yin deficiency of liver and kidney was lower than that of post menopausal patients.the possibility of getting liver qi stagnation type was higher than that of post menopausal patients.6.The distribution of the syndrome symptoms listed as following(the proportion of the syndrome symptoms are more than 50%): Patients with both yin and yang deficiency of kidney appear syndromes of heated sweat-out(100%), forgetfulness(97.4%), trance(90.8%), the effortless of waist and knees and cold-hotting(both 85.5%), dizziness(76.3%), and tinnitus(52.6%).Syndromes of heated sweat-out(100%), the effortless of waist and knees(82.4%), oropharyngeal dry(72.3%), wu-xin hot(66.2%), dizziness and dry-skin(both 64.9%), and night sweats(56.8%) belong to yin deficiency of kidney patients. Patients with yin deficiency of liver and kidney have syndromes of heated sweat-out(100%), irritability(93.8%), forgetfulness(92.2), the effortless of waist and knees(84.4%), blurred vision(78.1%), dizziness(75%), wu-xin hot(71.9%), oropharyngeal dry(68.8%), and insomnia(56.3%). Patients with liver qi stagnation have syndromes of heated sweat-out and irritability(both100%), insomnia(78.1%), heave a deep sigh(71.9%), emotional depression(68.8%), oropharyngeal dry(68.8%), and chest tightness(65.6%).Among the patients of both yin and yang deficiency of kidney and yin deficiency of liver and kidney syndrome, the symptoms of perimenopausal and post-menopausal periods’ patients have no significant difference(P > 0.05). And patients who have yin deficiency of kidney in their postmenopausal period have a higher morbidity with skin itching than patients in perimenopausal period. The syndrome of chest tightness appears much often among patients with liver qi stagnation in perimenopausal period than those in the late menopause.7.The perception of "heated sweat-out" syndrome is 99.7% in patients’ menopausal symptoms, while it is 100% in these four symptoms: both yin and yang deficiency of kidney, yin deficiency of kidney, yin deficiency of liver and kidney and heart kidney disharmony. The distribution in yang deficiency of spleen and kidney is 81.8%. The proportion of yang deficiency of kidney is 73.7%. Integrating various syndromes have no statistically significant difference.(P >0.05).Conclusion:1. Menopausal syndrome is influenced by many factors. From the patient’s age, occupation, cultural degree distribution, the author find that the work stress has correlation with the occurrence of menopausal syndrome.2. Three of the most common clinical syndrome is that both yin and Yang deficiency of kidney yin, kidney yin deficiency,deficiency of liver yin and kidney yin. Patients with menopausal patients with perimenopausal diseases with high incidence of stasis. In patients with postmenopausal patients with perimenopausal high incidence of kidney Yin deficiency.3. More than 80% of the clinical incidence rate is: baking hot and sweat out, forgetfulness, irritability, fatigue weakness, inattention,soreness and weakness of waist and knees, anxiety; organs involved in kidney and liver of Zang and Fu are mainly involved in Menopause Syndrome.The pathogenesis of the disease are mainly composed of kidney, liver and kidney Yin deficiency.4. High frequency syndrome of both yin and yang deficiency of kidney : heated sweat-out, forgetfulness, trance, the effortless of waist, knees and cold-hotting, dizziness. High frequency syndrome of yin deficiency of kidney:heated sweat-out, the effortless of waist and knees, oropharyngeal dry, wu-xin hot. High frequency syndrome of yin deficiency of liver and kidney have syndromes of heated sweat-out, irritability, forgetfulness, the effortless of waist and knees, blurred vision, dizziness, wu-xin hot. High frequency syndrome of liver qi stagnation have syndromes of heated sweat-out, irritability, insomnia, heave a deep sigh, emotional depression, oropharyngeal dry, and chest tightness.
