| Objective:Treat deficiency-cold type simplex emaciation through acupuncture on Shangjuxu(ST37) combining with abdomen-kneading, observe its clinical efficiency and evaluate the clinical effect of the clinical treatment, explore a simple and easy treatment for simplex emaciation. Methods:Randomly divide 60 patients into 2 groups. 30 of those are in treatment group and the rest 30 patients are in control group. Statistically process their general information like gender, age etc. Regard statistically no-variance as the precondition of this experiment. Respectively record their information including weight, BMI, appetite, mental condition and autocritical psychological assessment before treatment, after the treatment and 2 months after the treatment, take the infrared thermal imaging of their abdomen area and seek the relevance between the imaging variances and symptoms.Results:1. Comparisons of gender, age and BMI before treatment between both groups have no significant variance(P>0.05). They are comparable.2. Clinical treatment comparison of both groups is effective(P>0.05). Effectual comparison of both groups is effective(P>0.05). Effective comparison(P>0.05) of both groups is effective.3. Comparisons of weight, BMI and abdomen surface temperature before and after treatment of both groups have no statistical significance(P>0.05).4. Health condition survey indicates a comprehensive physical and mental promotion of patients from both groups. Conclusion: Both treatments are effective, and have no obvious clinical treatment variance. Acupuncture on single point Shangjuxu(ST37) combining with abdomen-kneading is easier to apply. Abdomen-kneading is easy for patients to handle and they are more likely to participate in the treatment. This provides a new possible way to explore the new-type interaction mode between doctor and patient. |
