The visual acuity of the eye is not worthy to wear any correction tool for the vision of less than 5, however, the main performance of poor eyesight is myopia. Myopia is the main form of poor eyesight, the incidence is very complex, the mechanism is not yet clear, generally considered to be the combined effect of genetic factors and environmental factors, family of high myopia, the effect is relatively weak, the large part of poor vision caused by environmental factors, environmental factors also include the visual environment and behavior environment. Poor vision in patients with susceptible to dry eye, proptosis, acid bilges fatigue, orbital pain, then blurred vision, ghosting, reading serial, serious still can appear dizziness, strabismus, astigmatism, cause neurasthenia, migraine headaches, nausea and other symptoms [18]. It may affect the students’ quality of life and learning. Rate of Chinese students poor eyesight incidence ranked first in the world. However, western countries, children of poor eyesight incidence rate of less than 5%, Asian countries 7 years old children of poor eyesight incidence rate was 29%, and presents the development trend of transformation to the low age, 7 ~ 9 years of age, the incidence of poor sight rate increased significantly.[Objective] To understand and master the current situation of poor eyesight of primary school students in Yingkou, and to investigate and analyze the risk factors of visual acuity in primary school students. To provide the education administrative department for primary school students to provide basic data and theoretical basis for the prevention and control of eyesight of primary school students, and to carry out the comprehensive intervention of eye health care in time and effectively. Promote primary school students to develop good health habits, improve students’ awareness of the right to use their eyes, for the students, parents and schools pay more attention to health, effective prevention and control of the occurrence and development of primary school pupils, so that students can have a pair of bright eyes".[Methods] Method of random cluster sampling. A total of 3461 students from grade 1 to 7 in 6 primary schools in Yingkou city were investigated by physical examination and questionnaire. 3500 questionnaires were distributed and 3461 valid questionnaires were collected, and the effective rate was 99%. Using Excel 2003 to establish a database, the descriptive statistical analysis, statistical methods: general statistical description, chi square test, Logistic regression analysis.[Result] 1. Total number of 3461 students, 1835 boys, 53% of the total number of girls, 1626 girls, the total number of 47%. The age distribution of the respondents was from 12 to 20.1% years old, which was 7, 17.9%, 16.2%, 14.1%, 16.2% and 15.5%, respectively. The grade distribution was 19.7%, 17.7%, 16.4%, 14.2%, 16.6%, 15.4%, 16.6%, respectively. 2. Different gender, grade, age, School of primary school students with different visual acuity, boys, the prevalence of poor vision was 42.6%, the prevalence of poor eyesight of girls was 40.2%, the prevalence of poor eyesight of girls was higher than boys. Primary school pupils aged 7 years of age, the prevalence of poor eyesight(11.2%), the age of 12 years of age(65.1%) the highest visual acuity. The prevalence of visual acuity(10.8%) was the lowest in grade one(65%), and the highest in grade six(grade 1) was the highest. Poor eyesight of pupils prevalence rate showed younger age and the trend of severe, along with the growth of age and grade, poor eyesight of pupils incidence rate increased, the mild and moderate poor eyesight incidence rate gradually decreased and severe onset of poor eyesight rate is gradually increased. 3. Primary school students with poor eyesight age in advance, there are 4.6% students in the school has been a poor vision, 39.4% students in primary school students with poor eyesight, in which grade two and grade 6.1%, respectively, and 8%; from grade three to five years, the number of poor students, 18.1%, 23.4%, 24.7%; six grade students in grade 14.5%. 4. There are a lot of bad and unhealthy behaviors in primary school students. 44.1% of the students have the habit of reading, reading, walking, reading books,travel books, 19.5% of the students have a habit of reading and writing in between classes, 41.8% of students have the habit of less than 30 cm distance from books, 69% of students do more than 1 hours a day, 74.5% of the students look at the electronic products for more than 1 hours, 62.2% of the students do not have after-school half an hour after school 1. 5. Hours of sleep less than 10 hours of primary school students are very common, accounting for 85.3%, while the sleep less than 8 hours of students accounted for 9.2%. The students who were less than 1 hours a day at the outdoor exercise time were 32.9%. 6. Factors analysis results, gender, age, grade, not correct reading posture, recess behavior, eye and Book distance, the average daily time to do homework, look at the time of electronic products, average daily sleep time, parents are myopia or unilateral myopia is the main factors affecting the visual acuity of primary school students in Yingkou.[Conclusion] 1.2014 years of age in Yingkou City, 12 to 7 years of age, the prevalence of poor eyesight is still at a high level, the prevalence of poor eyesight girls higher than boys. Along with the age and grade of the growth, the primary school students’ visual acuity was increased. 2 The risk factors of poor eyesight of primary school students in Yingkou city were gender, age, grade, incorrect learning method, time of electronic products, sleeping time and genetic factors.
