BackgroundA great quantity practices showed that the intraoperation is the high-incidence season in patients with low body temperature. Hypothermia had a relationship with the patient’s own factors, operation time, import large dose in normal temperature liquid and the use of a large number lavage fluid, flushing fluid and iodophor disinfection solution under electroresection in normal temperature. In addition, body exposure, wet cloth to wipe the abdominal cavity and abdominal viscera prolonged exposure to low temperature and humidity environment for a long time would lead to hypothermia in the intraoperation. Hypothermia had a great impact on patients. If body temperature is 34 degrees, the mortality rate reached 40%. If body temperature is 33 degrees, the mortality rate would reach 69%. If body temperature is 32 degrees, the mortality rate reached 100%. Long-term body temperature would have an negative impact on patients with circulatory system and coagulation system and cause postoperative myocardial ischemia and postoperative bleeding and appear adverse reactions such as postoperative infection, chills, pain, recovery time extended after general anesthesia postoperative. The use of simple cloth or cotton fabric and other warm measures have been unable to prevent the occurrence of hypothermia in patients. We would need to take a scientific, reasonable and adequate warm measures in order to reduce the occurrence of hypothermia in patients and reduce the harm caused by hypothermia.ObjectiveThe study using four kinds of indicators, such as the incidence of patients low body temperature, fully awake time, general anesthesia in patients with postoperative shivering, average length of stay, comprehensivly evaluated the clinical effect of nursing intervention measures. Specific nursing interventions can lower the incidence of low body temperature in elderly patients with prostate surgery operation, reduce the postoperative complications, ensure the safety of patients.MethodsThe study retrospectively random between January 2014 and May 2014 recruited 50 cases with surgical patients as the control group. In June 2014, our hospital has introduced the low temperature protective equipment such as heating box, heating blanket, blood transfusion heater, homemade leg cover, shoulder pads and so on and used in all clinical patients. Therefore, from June 2014 to January 2015 randomly selected 50 cases with surgical patients as the experimental group The experimental group took nursing intervention measures, such as import heated liquid and irrigating fluid, apply heating blanket, disposable aseptic incision protective film, a series of safety shielding facilities like leg sets, shoulder padding, otton quilt. The control group took conventional heat preservation measures. Four time temperature measurement conducted before anesthesia induction, 30 minutes after induction of anesthesia, 60 minutes and 90 minutes after anesthesia induction. Statistical analysis using statistical software SPSS18.0 for inspection and for quantitative data and qualitative data were used repeated measures analysis of variance analysis, t-test, chi square test. P<0.05 was statistically significant.Result1.The experimental group and the control group in gender, age, weight, operation time, infusion volume, perfusion washing liquid, were no significant difference(P > 0.05), and showed the two groups patients of their conditions have not affected in the preoperative.2. Comparing the experimental group and the control group respectively before induction of anesthesia, anesthesia induced after 30 minutes, 60 minutes and 90 minutes, the result showed statistical significance, suggesting that the incidence of patients who in low temperature was reduced by intervening measure in the experimental group; Comparing waking hours general anesthesia and postoperative hospital stay in the two groups, the result showed statistically significant, indicating that intervene measures can shorten waking hours general anesthesia and postoperative hospital stay. The incidence of chills in two groups patients with postoperative by Χ2 test, the results showed differences with statistically significant, indicating that intervention measures can decrease incidence of chills in the experimental group.Conclusion1. Comparing the experimental group and the control group respectively before induction of anesthesia, anesthesia induced after 30 minutes, 60 minutes and 90 minutes, the incidence of low temperature decreased obviously. The patient’s core body temperature decreased fastest in 30 minutes after anesthesia surgery. In 90 minutes and 60 minutes after anesthesia, the core body temperature was also on the decline, but the range of decline do not more than 30 minutes after anesthesia. So 30 minutes after anesthesia for patients preheats early so as to greatly reduce the decline in core body temperature.2. The implementation of nursing intervention measures can ensure the safe operation, reduce the postoperative shivering occurred rate, reduce the systemic anesthesia postoperative recovery time, reduce the temperature low incidence reduce postoperative hospitalization cost at the same time and reduce the patient.
