Objective:By means of qualitative and quantitative methods, obtain the resident’s subjective needs and objective demands for healthMethods:Using a combination of qualitative and quantitative methods to obtain the status of the main city residents on health needs and subjective and objective content management needs and family health needs and analysis of family health management of medical resources, medical personnel and other aspects of cognition on the basis of recommendations to the authorities and their operational strategies of home health management model.Results:Quantitative part:this survey on a total of 18 year-old resident survey and 493 caregivers, the survey larger proportion of women, accounting for 62.86%. Most of the elderly population survey, in which over 60 years old accounted for 51.72%. Residents surveyed low education level, junior high school education or less accounted for 38.95%. Surveyed residents in the past year to accept the physical examination was 61.10%, smoking and drinking were accounted for 19.67% and 21.26%, on the understanding of the human diet pagoda 40.53%, residents weekly, daily exercise is 45.49%, but there are 30.04% of people never exercise. Respondents received home health management services to 62.08%, for service satisfaction and trust of community physicians and 75.83% respectively 74.16%, want home services accounted for 58.28%. For home health services generally higher subjective needs, including the need for basic medical supplies and essential drugs were as high as 91.95% and 79.31%.Qualitative part:residents choose to accept home health services and community health centers for medical treatment because of community physicians and good attitude, cheap, convenient medical treatment. On the other hand they believe that integrated hospital overcrowding and time-consuming. The study found that residents’ awareness of disease prevention and weak, for community health centers lack of understanding of these factors hindered its use of home health management services. Lack of publicity and lower service quality and medical staff are not enthusiastic, inadequate policies, lack of equipment and other hardware conditions are the main factors in the area of home health management.Conclusion:Residents of the family health management services exist great needs, but there are also have more loopholes, lack of services and utilization of a variety of causes.
