Patent Information Analysis of Vaccine in China Objective:This study aimed at through some related research of vaccine’s industry and technology, use a variety of intelligence analysis method to analyze the patent of domestic vaccine from multi angle, to know the current situation of the development, trends, competitors and partners of the vaccine industry. Finally, provide useful competitive intelligence and decision support to related personnel of domestic enterprises and institutions. Methods:Select the patent information service platform Http://search.cnipr.com/ as the data source and retrieve patent applications of vaccine. After dereplication and cleaning of the data, use methods include patent bibliometrics, patent map, social networks, combined with the software of TDA, gCluto, Ucinet and Excel to analyze the data.There are 10818 relevant patent documents were retrieved in this study, choose 10160 of invention patents to dereplicate and clean, then analyze the 9163 vaccine patents. According to the different object, the vaccine can be divided into human vaccine, animal vaccine and plant vaccine. In this study, the development trend analysis and technical life cycle analysis of the whole vaccine patents were made. For animal vaccine, analyze the patentee, country, regional and research hotspots; For human vaccine, analyze the patentee, inventor, country, regional cooperation relationship, IPC and research hotspots. Results:⑴The majority of applications were human vaccine, followed by animal vaccineAccording to the criteria of division, 6063(66.17%) were human vaccine, 3075(33.56%) were animal vaccine, 25(0.27%) were plant vaccine.⑵The domestic vaccine development has undergone 4 periods, now the country is in the second period of rapid developmentFrom the overall development trend, the domestic vaccine development has experienced 4 periods, respectively: the slow development period, the first period of rapid development, the smooth transition period and the second period of rapid development.
