The Clinical Observation Of Deficiency Of Both Qi And Blood In Iron Deficiency Anemia With Tonify Qi And Blood Therapy

Objective:Obeserve changes of TCM symptom score, peripheral blood, iron metabolism and occurrence rate of gastrointestinal discomfort by using tonify qi and blood and chalybeate to treat iron deficiency anemia deficiency of both qi and blood patient. Explore impact of effect increase and poisonousness reduction of using tonify qi and blood to treat iron deficiency anemia. Provide a reference for traditional Chinese medicine therapy of iron deficiency anemia.Methods:Divided 60 iron deficiency anemia patients into research group and control group. Give research group tonify qi and blood and iron dextran tablets and control group iron dextran tablets. Caculate and analyze differences between two groups of before and after treatment in RBC, Hb, MCV, MCH, MCHC, SI, SF, TCM symptoms points and occurrence rate of Gastrointestinal untoward effect.Results:1.After treatment, TCM symptom scores were decreased in two groups (P<0.05),but research group was much lowered (P<0.05);2. Research group curative effect was 100% in symptom score, but control group was 93.3%.It showed research group was better than control group (P<0.05);3. Research group clinical rate was 93.3%,which is higher than control group 86.7%,but two group got no big difference (P>0.05);4.Both groups Hb and RBC were obviously higher after treatment (P<0.05),and research group Hb is much higer than control group (P<0.05);5.After treatment, serum iron and serum ferritin were significantly increased (P<0.05),and no big difference between two groups (P>0.05);6.After treatment, research group got less loss of appetite patients, but control group got more. Two group have apparently difference in this aspect (P<0.05);7. Occurrence rate of gastrointestinal untoward effect in the research group was lower than the control group (P<0.05)Conclusion:1.Tonify qi and blood treatment could obviously improve peripheral blood and iron metabolism of iron deficiency anemia patient.2.Tonify qi and blood could improve clinical symptoms of patient.3.Tonify qi and blood could reduce occurrence rate of gastrointestinal untoward effect caused by iron dextran.
