The Clinical Study For The Treatment Of Renal Edema By Nourishing Kidney And Activating Blood Flow And Clearing Damp

Objective:To observe the clinical effects of traditional Chinese medicine,explore the nourishing kidney and activating blood flow and clearing damp method,provide theoretical basis for Chinese medicine in the treatment of renal edema and treatment methods.Method:By the method of stochastic parallel controlled trial,32 cases of patients diagnosis of renal edema (kidney deficiency and blood stasis wet) were divided into experimental group and control group.There were 16 patients in the experimental group,16 patients in the control group.Both experimental group and control group were given by basic treatments which are hypertension, hyperlipidemia, hyperglycemia etc. In addition,experimental group took the medicine which consist of 60 grams of astragalus,20 grams of angelica,60 grams of tuckahoe peel,30 grams of grifola,30 grams of big belly skin,30 grams of motherwort.It’s extraction of particles.Patients took them 1 bag/time,3 times a day with 100ml warm boiled water.The control group only had the basic treatment.The course of the treatment is 4 weeks.Observe patients’edema degree,symptom integral,laboratory examination and other indicators.Analyze and process the data.Results:1.About the curative effect of edema:there were 16 patiens in the experimental group;6 cases clinical recovery; 1 case were markedly effective;6 cases effective;3 cases had no effect.The total effective rate was 81.25%.There were 16 patiens in the control group;0 cases clinical recovery;0 cases were markedly effective;4 cases effective; 12 cases ineffective.The total effective rate was 25.00%,P < 0.05.Differences between the two groups was statistically significant, the experimental group is better than control group in treating edema.2.About the efficacy of TCM:the experimental group average symptoms before treatment was 14.44+/-5.02 points,while average symptoms after treatment was 7.00+/-3.44 points.The control group average symptoms before treatment was 15.88+/-5.01 points,while after treatment symptoms was 13.06+/-5.54 points,P<0.05.The differences between the two groups was statistically significant.The experimental group can improve the patients’ clinical symptoms more than the control group.Conclusion:It’s a good way to improve patients with renal edema clinical symptoms and improve patients’ syndrome by nourishing kidney and activating blood flow and clearing damp.Its safety is satisfactory.
