Objective:To research type 2 diabetes mellitus patients with retinal vascular caliber changes in the characteristics and relevant influencing factors; Using the retinal image standardization evaluation technology system, By analyzing relevant datamining, To explore correlation between TCM syndrome and retinal vascular caliber. Methods:According to the prospective clinical research method, Included in the 40 cases type 2 simplex diabetic,40 cases of healthy people, the subjects general situation, the TCM syndrome, the related biochemical indexes and the routine inspection of ophthalmology, Using Oxymap T1 retinal image acquisition and analyzer fundus image collection, selected each frame for the following pole of the right eye optic disk centered images, each eye choose distance edge optic disk video disc caliber range of 0.5-3.0, all in and out of the size of the optic disk arteriovenous, marked superior temporal quadrant, superior nose quadrant, lower nose and temporal quadrants arteries and veins, the system automatically displays the measured results, After the measurement using SPASS software to analyze data, each quadrant arteriovenous average summary, corresponding arteriovenous ratiostatistic analysis. According to the " TCM symptom quantization table" record DM patients with TCM syndrome, and using the method of variance analysis and bivariate correlation analysis, aAnalyze the related factors affecting DM patients with retinal vascular caliber and its relationship with TCM syndrome type.Results:1. Compared with normal group, the DM patients with retinal vein in the superior temporal, inferior temporal and nasal quadrant caliber greater than the normal group, the difference was statistically significant (P< 0.05). Artery caliber was no significant difference (P> 0.05) in each quadrant.2. The normal group, the nasal branch retinal vein caliber was significantly greater in women than men, the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05).3.The DM group, the temporal branch retinal artery and vein caliber, women more than men, the difference was statistically significant (P< 0.05); Different ages in the inferior temporal artery, nose on retinal vein and the ratio of the movement, inferior the nasal vein, as the growth of the age, retinal vascular caliber became smaller, the difference was statistically significant (P< 0.05); Different course on the retinal superior temporal artery and arteriole:venule ratio and Inferior temporal retinal vein caliber influential, with the duration of the extension, retinal vascular caliber gradually increased, the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). Different biochemical indicators, retinal artery caliber and a positive correlation between fasting glucose (P<0.05),and density lipoprotein were negatively correlated (P <0.05);retinal vein caliber and glycated hemoglobin, fasting plasma glucose was positively correlated (P<0.05).4.The relationship between TCM syndrome factor analysis, the element according to the frequency order from high to low is:Yin deficiency> qi deficiency> dryness-heat> Yang deficiency> Blood stasis> Qi stagnation> phlegm> anemia; On the superior temporal retina branch artery caliber and Yang deficiency, caliber have significant correlation (P< 0.05); Temporal branch retinal vein caliber and Qi, Yin deficiency had significant correlation (P<0.05).Inferior the temporal branch retinal artery caliber and blood stasis were significantly correlated (P<0.05). Nasal branch retinal vein caliber and phlegm significantly correlated (P<0.05). Inferior nose branch artery and vein caliber and deficiency, blood stasis syndrome known significant correlation (P<0.05).5. Relationship between TCM syndrome type analysis, the superior temporal retinal vein and nasal vein caliber difference was statistically significant, Yin and Yang deficiency>Qi and Yin deficiency> Yin deficiency on the dryness-heat(P< 0.05); Yin deficiency on the dryness-heat lower temporal quadrant artery, superior temporal vein, nasal vein caliber under the influential (p< 0.05); Yin and Yang deficiency syndrome on the superiorr temporal retinal vein, venous blood vessel caliber under the temporal correlation (p< 0.05).Conclusion:1. Compared with the normal, DM patients with retinal vascular caliber anomalies are mainly Superior and Inferior the temporal and Inferior nasal quadrant, artery caliber had no significant difference.2. Gender, age, course of the disease and TCM syndrome factor and syndrome is the influence factors of DM patients with retinal vascular caliber and their ratio.
