| Objective:To observe the clinical therapeutic effect and adverse effect of Huomai powder in treating blood stasis type of Arteriosclerosis Obliterans and explore the mechanism of action of Huomai.Methods:60 patients who suffered from ASO were randomly divided into two groups,consisting of the treatment group(30) and the control group(30).The treatment group was given Huomai powder,while the control group was given Xuefu Zhuyu Capsule.2 months later,we recorded and analysed the change of blood rheology,ankle brachial index,plasma fibrinogen,vascular endothelial function,the clinical curative effect between the two groups.Results:(1)The total effective rate in the treatment group was 93.33%,and the total effective rate in the control group was 76.67%.The results of the two groups were statistically significant(P<0.05).The clinical effect of the treatment group was better than that of the control group.(2)The changes of hemorheology indexes in the treatment group after treatment have statistical significance(P<0.05).The change of erythrocyte deformation index in the control group has no significant difference(P>0.05),while differences of the rest of hemorheology indexes have statistical significance(P<0.05).Differences of hemorheology indexes between two groups after treatment have statistical significance(P<0.05).The treatment group was better than the control group.(3)The fibrinogen index of the treatment group after treatment has significantly decreased(P<0.01),while the difference in the control group after treatment has no statistical significance(P>0.05).Differences of the fibrinogen index between two groups after treatment have statistical significance(P<0.05).Huomai powder can significantly reduce fibrinogen levels.(4)Differences of the ankle/brachial index of the treatment group after treatment have statistical significance(P<0.05),while differences in the control group after treatment have no statistical significance(P>0.05).Differences of the ankle/brachial index between two groups after treatment have statistical significance(P<0.05). Huomai powder can improve ankle/brachial index of ASO patients.(5)The levels of plasma NO index were increased(P<0.05),and the levels of plasma ET-1 index were decreased(P<0.05) after treatment in the treatment group and the control group.Differences of the plasma NO and plasma ET-1 index between two groups after treatment have statistical significance(P<0.05).The improvement of the plasma NO index and the plasma ET-1 index of ASO patients in the treatment group was better than that in the control group.Conclusion:Huomai powder has reliable efficacy in treating ASO.The theory of improving the curative effect might be had something to do with improving peripheral circulation,regulating of vascular endothelial cell function,reduceing blood viscosity and fibrinogen and so on. |
