Research Progress In Allergic Rhinitis

Background:The development of allergic rhinitis is determined by many factors, such as genetic predisposition to develop atopy, but also by exposure to allergens and pollution. In recent years, due to changes in lifestyle and dramatic change of living environment, the incidence of allergic rhinitis shows increasing trend year by year. During the past several decades, we have seen many breakthroughs in our understanding of the immunologic mechanisms initiating and mediating allergic airway responses. However, the pathogenesis of Allergic rhinitis is still not clear and treatment needs to be further perfected.Objective:This article review the epidemiological characteristics, genetics, pathogenesis, diagnosis and treatment progress of Allergic rhinitis,hoping to provide certain reference for the future research and clinical diagnosis and treatment.Methods:"Allergic rhinitis, heredity, environmental pollution " were used as keywords retrieval to summarize the research advances of allergic rhinitis.Results:In recent years, the research on the pathogenesis and treatment of Allergic rhinitis has been progress, enriching the related theory knowledge, improving the prevention and control measures.
