Analysis Of Features Of Different TCM Symptoms With Serum Sex Hormone Level And Insulin On Polycystic Ovary Syndrome

Objective: To explore the distribution of TCM syndrome PCOS patients and PCOS syndrome type serum hormone levels and the correlation between insulin levels through clinical studies, To find the evidence based or microcosmic basis for the syndrome in TCM’s syndrome differentiation and treatment and Provide objective reference basis for the disease clinical syndrome differentiation.Methods: Through Chinese medicine hospital in Gansu province and Gansu college of Traditional Chinese medicine hospital collected 72 PCOS patients who met our selection Criteria.Create a questionnaire and to investigate their main symptoms, concomitant sympto ms, tongues and pulses, divided into each syndrome type according diagnostic standards by this questionnaire survey, arrived at the common criterions of syndromes in TCM. Record the patient’s features of menstrual conditions, detect LH, FSH, E2, T, FPG, FPG, FINS and SHBG. Carry on staistics analysis to its data, obtain the science the conclusion.Results:1 Distribution of TCM Syndrome PCOS patients:This study collected a total of 72 cases of PCOS patients, there are four major syndromes, according to the frequency from high to low according to times are: Kidney Blood Syndrome(34.72%),Spleen and kidney deficiency and phlegm(26.39%),Kidney depression Syndrome(20.83%),Deficiency syndrome(18.06%)2 PCOS patient age,duration and occupational distribution of correlation with syndromes:(1)Age:More concentrated between 19 to 35 years, a total of 42cases(58.33%),in 42 cases there are 18 cases with Kidney Deficiency and Blood(25%),35 to 49 years,10 cases mainly in the kidney liver depression syndrome.(2)Course of disease: More concentrated in the 3 to 8 years,a total of 40 cases.(3)Between the syndrome and age,age at menarche,duration and occupational distributionthere was no significant.3 PCOS study serum hormone levels common syndrome type:(1)T、SHBG levels: Kidney depression Syndrome PCOS group’s T、SHBG is higher than spleen and kidney deficiency and phlegm syndrome group, and phlegm stasis syndrome g r o u p a n d k i d n e y g r o u p, d e f i ci en cy sy n dro me g rou p, the difference was statistically significance(P<0.05).(2)LH、LH/FSH levels: Is an important feature of PCOS Kidney yang deficiency group, LH、LH/FSH in Kidney yang deficiency group was significantly higher than the kidney and spleen and kidney deficiency and blood stasis group phlegm group, the difference was statistically significance(P<0.05).(3) E2 levels:E2 levels in each syndrome group showed no significant difference(P﹥0.05).4 Insulin Level of PCOS common syndrome type:(1)FPG levels:FPG levels in each syndrome group showed no significant difference(P﹥0.05).(2)Levels of FINS、HOMA-IR and BMI:Levels of FINS、HOMA-IR and BMI in Spleen and kidney deficiency and phlegm syndrome group was higher than Liver depression and kidney deficiency syndrome group and Kidney Deficiency and Blood group, there was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusions:1 There are four common TCM syndrome type of PCOS patients in this study: kidney and blood stasis, spleen kidney both deficiency and phlegm dampness, kidney, liver, kidney Yang deficiency of kidney and blood stasis is the main syndrome type;2 No significant correlation was found between or among age, menarche age, course of illness and career in the distribution of PCOS patient’s TCM syndrome type;3 In PCOS patient’s four common TCM syndrome type there are differences between LH, LH/FSH, T, SHBG, BMI,HOMA-IR and FINS: the expression level of LH, LH/FSH in kidney Yang deficiency type are higher than other syndrome type, the expression level of T,SHBG in Kidney liver depression type are higher than other syndrome type; the expression level of BMI、FINS、HOMA-IR in spleen kidney deficiency and phlegm wet are higher than other syndrome type; could be used as the reference basis of PCOS patient’s syndrome differentiation.
