| Purpose:Clinical application of flexible ureteroscope and Ureteroscopic is very widely. The differences between these two method is worthy for study. The current study aims to analyze flexible ureteroscope or ureteroscope used along with holmium laser for treatment of upper ureteral stones on stress response, in order to obtain scientific conclusions to determine which method is the better choice for clinical.Methods:40 cases of upper ureteral calculi patients receiving treatment of our hospital between April 2014 and December 2014 were selected. Using a random number table method to divide the petients into flexible ureteroscope treatment group and ureteroscope treatment group. Patinets of both groups receiving treatment of holmium laser. After informed, peripheral blood were collected before surgery, postoperative day 1,3,5, respectively, to measure the C-reactive protein(CRP), serum interleukin-6(IL-6) and cortisol(Cor) concentration in the serum. SPSS13.0 software were used for basic statistical analysis and testing.Results:Baseline serum CRP, IL-6 and Cor levels of flexible ureteroscope treatment group and Ureteroscopic treatment group were:(2.77±1.06)mg/L,(1.24±0.40)ng/L,(200.04±7.58)ng/m L and(2.40±1.03)mg/L,(1.21±0.27)ng/L,(199.65±8.10)ng/m L, the difference between the two groups was not statistically significant(P> 0.05). 1,3,5 days after surgery, CRP, IL-6, Cor concentrations of both groups were higher than baseline, the index levels in patients treated with flexible ureteroscope is lower than ureteroscopic treatment group, and difference between the two groups was statistically significant(P <0.05).Conclusions:The immune stress response of patients who treated with flexible ureteroscope along with holmium laser is less than those treated with rigid ureteroscopy along with holmium laser treatment, which could significantly helpful to ensure the quality of life. Flexible ureteroscope was thought to be more helpful to achieve minimally invasive for urological treatment. |
