Objective To compare the clinical results of Endobutton joint Intrafix and absorbable interference screw fixation after ACL reconstruction with autologous hamstring tendon.Method 60 patients who had been treated with arthroscopic ACL reconstruction using autologous hamstring tendon, were selected from Affiliated Hospital of Qingdao University(2012-07 to 2103-08). According to different fixation, they were divided into group one(30 patients, with Edobutton joint Intrafix) and group two(30 patients, with absorbable interference screw). Preoperative and postoperative knee anterior drawer test, Lachman test, pivot shift test were observed. And knee function was evaluated by Lysholm and IKDC systems. Results The two groups of patients were followed up for 6-25 months. In the first group: 7 patients knee still have mild pain, LachmanⅠdegree positive in 5 cases. Lysholm and IKDC scores by(56.2±5.7) and(50.0±4.3) grew to(89.2±2.7) and(90.1±3.1). There were statistically significant differences between preoperation and postoperation(p < 0.05). In the second group: 8 patients knee still have mild pain, LachmanⅠdegree positive in 7 cases. Lysholm and IKDC scores by(57.6±5.5) and(51.4±4.5) grew to reconstruction(88.8±2.5) and(89.4±3.3). There were statistically significant differences between preoperation and postoperation(p < 0.05). After reconstruction, the Lysholm and IKDC scores of the two groups of patients was not statistically significant(p > 0.05).Conclusions After analysis, both ways are reliable fixation ways in anterior cruciate ligament.
