Objective:The purpose of this study was:(1) To develop a training progam of comprehensive scenario simulation practice in pre-internship training for nursing undergraduates;(2) Implementing the comprehensive scenario simulation practice training progam, and comparing with the traditional training method, aiming to explore the effects of comprehensive scenario simulation practice;(3) At last, sum up the experinces and provide a basis for the future conducting comprehensive scenario simulation practice in pre-internship training for nursing undergraduates, preparing for care in future better. Methods:The researcher selected 120 undergaduate students in gade 2011 and were randomly divided them into experimental group(60 members)and control group(60 members). The research is a synchronized randomized controlled trials research with the experimental group took “comprehensive scenario simulation practice training model”,while the control group receives the traditional training model(that is teacher teaching- simulation training in laboratory- class feedback- summarizing). After finish the training, the students were assessed for both theory and skill and required to filling in the CTDI-CV survey, Competencies of Self-regulated Learning form. In addition, the feedback questionnaires was used to survey the effect evaluation and suggestions of 60 students who participated in comprehensive scenario simulation practice in pre-internship training group. The statistical data was analyzed by SPSS17.0. Results:1.The scores of theoretical and skill examination of experimental group were much higher than the control group(85.41±7.49 vs 77.89±7.93, 93.95±2.62 vs 89.16±4.81, respectively, all P <0.05).2.The scores of experimental group nursing students were significantly higher than control group nursing students among the total scores(295.22±17.33 vs 276.15±21.03), Open-minded scores, Analyticity scores, Systematicity scores, Self-confidence scores, Inquisitiveness scores and Maturity scores of CTDI-CV(P<0.05), but the truth-seeking scores were not statistically significant difference among two groups(P>0.05).3.The total score of autonomous learning ability(88.48±9.69 vs 81.40±10.51, P<0.05) and the scores of three dimensions including self-management ability, obtaining information ability and cooperation ability in experimental group were better than those in control group(all Ps <0.05).4.There were respective 98.3%, 96.7% and 93.3% nursing undergraduates of experimental group who thought comprehensive scenario simulation practice could improve the ability of decision-making in clinical nursing, stimulate understanding of nursing knowledge and ability to make use of it, as well as arouse learning interest. Conclusion:1.Comprehensive scenario simulation practice can stimulate interest in learning for students, which can consolidate the theoretical knowledge and skill, and promote students to apply theory to practice better in clinic.2.Comprehensive scenario simulation practice is effective in improving the comprehensive abilities of nursing students, especially in developing nursing students’ self-learning ability and critical thinking ability. It can set a better foundation for their sustainable development in their career. However, further improvement is suggested in the dimension of Truth-seeking.3.Comprehensive scenario simulation practice can greatly improve the quality of nursing education, which make them be better qualified for clinical nursing internship work. The new training model should be used widely because of its feasibility and practicality.
