Objective: 1, For shenzhen Sijihuacheng community of primary angle-closure glaucoma(PACG) epidemiological screening, to investigate the prevalence of PACG in Shenzhen and its influencing factors.2, For the high-risk patients of PACG with appropriate prophylactic treatment,to establish health records, regular follow-up, and as far as possible to control disease progression in patients with PACG.3, To find more suitable methods about screening of PACG in Shenzhen, provide a more scientific basis for reducing irreversible blindness are caused by primary angle-closure glaucoma.Method: 1, In 2014 March to December, the population aged over 55 in shenzhen Sijihuacheng community were screened of PACG by random, cluster sampling method.Preliminary screening inspection items include visual acuity, non-contact intraocular pressure check, slit lamp examination and direct ophthalmoscope examination. 2. Patients with suspected PACG were called to the Shenzhen Ophthalmic Hospital and make further investigation including optometry, flatten intraocular pressure, corneal thickness, angle lens, vision, fundus photography, OCT and UBM examination. 3, For the high-risk patients of PACG with appropriate treatment, to establish health records, and regular follow-up. 4, Statistics of the prevalence of PACG and analysis of relevant factors to explore more suitable for screening PACG scientific method in Shenzhen.IIResults: 1, Extract the 2422 actual surveyed people in 2723 samples, the response rate was88.95%. The average age of the subjects was 68.1 ± 8.27 years. The prevalence of PACG was1.53%, of which the males were 0.83% and the females were 2.21%. The prevalence of PACG differences between sex, age and education level have statistical significance. 2,People aged over55 of non-contact mean IOP was 14.01 ± 2.62 mm Hg, mean IOP of differences between the all ages and gender were not statistically significant. 3, ISGEO classification of PACS in prevalence was 2.52%, the prevalence of PAC was 0.74%, and the prevalence of PACG was1.53%.The prevalence of PACS, PAC and PACG in gender differences have statistical significance. PACG patients accounted for 46% of the early, mid-32%, 22% advanced. 4. Between PACG group and control group in the differences of hypertension prevalence, smoking, drinking and close your eyes every day time had no statistical significance, and in gender, age, culture level, hyperopiaprevalence and diabetes among the difference was statistically significant. Conclusions: 1. The prevalence of primary angle-closure glaucoma for the population aged over 55 in shenzhen Sijihuacheng community are close to Guangzhou. 2, primary angle-closure glaucoma is an important cause of blindness in the population, its prevalence is related to gender, age, education level, diabetes, hyperopia and family history factors, but it is not with high blood pressure, smoking, drinking and close your eyes every day time factors. 3, In Shenzhen Sijihuacheng community people over 55 years of non-contact intraocular pressure with the increase of age and slightly lower, but the intraocular pressure changes has nothing to do with gender. 4, Community screening of primary angle-closure glaucoma need individuals, hospitals, governments and other parties to participate in to achieve good results.
