The Conception System And Theoretical Framework Of Secondary Prevention Compliance In Patients With Coronary Heart Disease

Objective: The purpose of this study is to explore the compliance for secondary prevention of coronary heart disease patients and the reason why will produce the corresponding compliance or noncompliance behavior. This paper mainly focuses on this theme of "the compliance of coronary heart disease patients ". The questions of this research are following: How is the patients’ compliance of secondary prevention? Why will generate the corresponding compliance behavior?Methods: Grounded theory method was used in this research. At first we adopts the method of goal-directed sampling, theoretical sampling and roll-the-snowball to select patients discharged from a Grade Three A Hospital or in various communities as the interview object obviously different in social demographic characteristics such as gender, age, domicile place and so on. Then we took the semi-structural depth interview with the interview object about the research questions, and collecting the date of patients ’ adherence reported in network or news media as a supplementary data. Eventually we analysis the theme through the substantial coding and theoretical coding strategy.Results: This study apply the approach of sociological theory, family sociological theory and grounded theory to analysis in deeply the date of the interviews date about22 cases of patients. Through the substantial coding seven core generics were summarized as "self-management, home-management, trust, information, communication, support, benefit".Meanwhile one core themes(concept) "patients’ secondary prevention compliance behavior" was presented. In the end, by theoretical coding on the basis of substantial coding,the theoretical framework of the compliance behavior was constructed, mainly including four cause elements "trust, confidence, communication, support", two new compliance features, two compliance strategies "self-management, home-management", and one action result "benefit". Finally, we put forward the conception and theoretical hypothesis of secondary prevention compliance, which enriching the correlating theory. Finally we summarized the influence factors of secondary prevention compliance of coronary heart disease patients.In the influence factors there are five dimensions, which for practical measurement and intervention to improve compliance.Conclusion: A conception and theoretical framework for secondary prevention compliance of coronary heart disease patients was developed, which would guide thedevelopment of strategies for "compliance of coronary heart disease patients".
