Objective To improve the level of diagnosis and treatment of renal oncocytoma. Methods 20 cases of kidney eosinophilic cell adenoma(RO) and 30 cases of renal cell carcinoma(RCC) which were admitted into Hebei United University Affiliated Hospital from January 2001 to October 2014 were retrospectively analyzed and compared. First of all, make the statistics of general information, imaging features, treatment and postoperative pathological diagnosis of the two groups of patients. Then analyze the data of general information, clinical characteristics, imaging features, surgical methods and postoperative pathological diagnosis of the RO group. Select the patients who had the distinctive positive clinical manifestation and CT imaging from two groups and comparatively and statistically analyze the data with SPSS17.0 statistical software and review relevant literatures.Result Renal oncocytoma of the tumor which is often located on one side outside the kidney more prominent. The larger tumor of the RO prone to oppressive pain. Hematuria compared with renal cell carcinoma less. Medical imaging techniques has important value for preoperative diagnosis of RO. The characteristic performance of imaging which is Central stellate scar, The larger the tumor, the higher its probability of occurrence.Pathological examination is essential for patients of RO, Immunohistochemical staining can improve the diagnostic accuracy. Nephron sparing surgery and protection of renal function is the preferred treatment of RO, Take a minimally invasive surgical procedure, can greatly improve the quality of life of patients. There was no statistical significance in the general data of the patients in RO group and RCC group(P>0.05). While the size of the tumors in the cases of RO group had statistically significant difference(P<0.05).There was statistically significant difference the rate of hematuria between RO and RCC groups(P<0.05). There was statistically significant difference between RO and RCC the rate of gross hematuria(P<0.05). There was statistically significant to the scan results of CT value difference between RCC group RO group(P<0.05). CT scan The contrast analysis of CT data about the characteristics of uniform strength and stellate scar in RO and RCC group has statistical significance(P< 0.05).Conclusion These characteristics including RO’s plain and enhanced CT findings including isodense mass, central stellate scar appeared, no capsule no calcification, which may suggest the preoperative diagnosis of RO. Strengthening preoperative imaging analysis, and comprehensive analysis of the clinical data to improve the level of preoperative diagnosis of RO. For pathological diagnosis of atypical cases should explore new ideas to achieve early diagnosis and treatment of RO.
