| Purpose: Explore the effect of ACE gene targeted therapy on carotid artery intima-media thickness changes of patient with hypertension.Method: 80 patients with essential hypertension at cardiologic medicine 1st branch outpatient service and hospitalization at first affiliated hospital of Jiamusi university are randomly selected from Feb.2013 to Feb. 2014 as the research object. Four groups are divided into randomly, that is the conventional treatment comparison group, gene targeted therapy group A(TYPE II), gene targeted therapy group B(TYPE ID) and gene targeted therapy group C(TYPE DD), each of 20 cases. Gene targeted therapy group A selects 15 mg enalapril once a day with oral treatment; Gene targeted therapy group B selects 10 mg enalapril once a day with oral treatment; Gene targeted therapy group C selects 5mg enalapril once a day with oral treatment; comparison group selects 10 mg enalapril once a day with oral treatment. All patients are tracked with undergoing carotid color Doppler ultrasound examination on the day of admission, 3 months treatment, 6 months treatment and 9 months treatment, record the changes of carotid artery intima-media thickness and monitor the change of blood pressure(SBP and DBP) at the same time. Compare 4 groups’ patients respectively with the changes of carotid artery intima-media thickness and blood pressure at different times.Result: Compared with comparison group, IMTã€IMI/diameterã€SBPã€DBP of the three Gene targeted therapy groups reduced gradually along with the time change(P<0.05)and the reduction of gene targeted therapy group C is larger than gene targeted therapy group B and the reduction of gene targeted therapy group B is larger than gene targeted therapy group A.Conclusion: Carotid artery intima-media thickness will be reduced effectively and blood pressure will be controlled effectively of the patients with essential hypertension by gene targeted therapy(mainly type DD and ID) according to the classification of ACE gene polymorphism. |
