Evolutionary technology has dramatically benefited human beings, but as it goes, “No weal without woe”, RF(Radio Frequency) radiation undermines people’s health wherever you are from infrastructures such as wireless routers, computer’s WiFi modules, and cell phones. Doctors also recommend people, especially the pregnant, stay away from radiation. Numerous studies have shown that the astonishing impairments of mobile phone radiation in biological cells, particularly the germ cells, since the early stages of embryonic cell division, are the most vulnerable to the radiation. Many people indicate exposure to long-term radiation likely causes psychological and emotional irritability, sleeplessness, depression and even neurasthenia. Study has found RF radiation can damage DNA, causing changes in the structure of chromosomes, which can lead to cell dysfunction, cell canceration, and even cell death.In 2011 WHO had classified cell phone radiation as Group 2B--possibly carcinogenic. Phone radiation, compared to other radiations like WiFi, base station radiation, characterizes in that it’s much closer to the brain--typically below 15 cm, and holds a stronger electromagnetic radiation with such a lower frequency. According to the Path Loss Formula, the intensity of electromagnetic radiation logarithmically reduces corresponding to the transmission distance and frequency. A router’s transmission power is 20 dBm, laptop wireless module, 15 dBm, while GSM phones, 33 dBm. Additionally routers utilizes spectrum of 2.4GHz frequency, cell phones, 900 MHz. Accordingly Path Loss Formula tells us, cell phone radiation injury of the human, especially of the brain, is the most severe in our living environment.Via studying the principles of the cellular network, and then determining the relationship between the received signal strength(RSS) and the intensity of the cell phone radiation, this paper proposes four algorithms, R-ALG algorithm, H-ALG algorithm, P-ALG algorithm, and S-ALG algorithm, in order to detect the real effects, extents and reasons of RSS variations, aiming at finding the crux of the RSS variations and helping users find the best strategy to reduce the radiation from the phones in terms of the health. In this paper, it helps users learn several strategies to make a mobile phone running with a stronger RSS. Under this circumstance, the base station will be able to control a phone to adjust its transmission power to a lower power level, reducing the radiation, thus effectively decreasing the damage to users’ health. Experiments in this paper show that R-ALG, H-ALG, P-ALG, and S-ALG respectively increase the RSS by 15 dB, 12 dB, 2dB, and 34 dB.
