Objective:By clinical observation,to investigate the effect of different treatment interval of acupuncture on Lumbar Disc Herniation, and try to explore the optimal interval for clinical application to treat Lumbar Disc Herniation, which can serve as a reference standard of clinical treatment. Methods:The seventy-two patients which conform to the diagnostic criteria and exclusion standard were randomly divided into two groups. Two groups of patients were given the same acupuncture points and techniques. The difference between the two groups is that one frequency of acupuncture is one time a day,and another is two times a day.Compared the VAS index and JOA scores after seven days later. Results:The results indicated that both the two groups of the patients who were given different frequency of acupuncture have the effect(P<0.05). The effect of the group which given two times a day is better than the group which given one times a day both in VAS and JOA(P<0.05).Conclusion : The clinical research about seventy-two patients of Lumbar Disc Herniation showed that both the two groups of the patients who were given different frequency of acupuncture have the effect and the effect of the group which given two times a day is better than the group which given one times a day. That means the patients who feel more uncomfortable or who want to resume from the hurt more quickly can be given two times a day in frequency of acupuncture.
