ObjectiveTo observe the clinical efficacy of "lying needle" acupuncture combined with electroacupuncture in the treatment of lumbar disc herniation, and to provide observation basis for the clinical application and efficacy evaluation of "lying needle" acupuncture in the treatment of lumbar disc herniation.MethodsThis clinical study adopts the randomized control method.According to the inclusion and exclusion criteria of this study,64 patients with lumbar intervertebral disc herniation were selected from the outpatient department of the acupuncture and moxibustion department of the first affiliated hospital of guangzhou university of traditional Chinese medicine and the inpatient department of the acupuncture and kang department of the second affiliated hospital of guangdong province between February 2018 and February 2019.The patients were randonly divided into treatment group and control group. The prescriptions of acupoint selection in the two groups were all based on the prescription of "low back pain" in the<acupuncture and moxibustion therapeutics).Shenshu, daochangshu and ashi acupoints were selected as the main acupoints.Combined with meridians differentiation, acupoints are arranged along with syndromes, and wei zhong, heyang and chengshan are added for the foot sun meridian type, while huantiao, yanglingquan and xuanzhong are added for the foot shaoyang type.Among them, the treatment group were treated with "lying needle" acupuncture combined with conventional electric acupuncture, the specific operation for the shen shu, dachangshu, ashi acupoints, heyang.chengshan, yanglingquan, xuanzhong is inserting needle at an angle of 15-30,each two needles are opposite each other, the Wei zhong, huantiao acupoint are inserted straightly. In the same group,shenshu-dachangshu,heyang-chengshan yanglingquan xuanzhong acupoints were selected and electroacupuncture was performed.Density wave was selected, and the intensity was determined by the patient' s tolerance. Each treatment lasted for 20 minutes, once every other day, three times a week,2 weeks one period of treatment,a total of two period of treatment,a total of 12 times. The control group was treated with conventional acupuncture combined with conventional electroacupuncture, and all the selected acupoints were inserted straightly by filiform needle. The prescription for selecting acupoints, electroacupuncture method, treatment time and course of treatment were the same as those of the treatment group. The immediate efficacy of the two treatment regimens was evaluated by comparing the VAS scores at Oh,0.5h and lh before and after the first treatment.JOA score,SF-MPQ score and total curative effect were compared before and after treatment to observe the improvement of clinical symptoms, especially pain, and evaluate the curative effect of the two treatment schemes,so as to explore the optimal effect of "lying acupuncture" combined with electroacupuncture in the treatment of lumbar disc herniation.ResultsBefore treatment, the two groups were statistically analyzed and compared in gender, age, course of disease,VAS score,SF-MPQscore,JOA score and other factors, and the differences were not significant, suggesting that the basie data of the two groups were similar and the two groups were comparable.VAS score:both groups were able to quickly and effectively relieve the pain of lumbar disc herniation(p<0.05),and the "lying acupuncture" method was superior to conventional acupuncture in the immediate pain relief of lumbar disc herniation(p<0.05).JOA and SF-MPQ scores:treatment in both groups could improve lumbar vertebral function and alleviate pain symptoms of lumbar disc herniation(p<0.05)."Lying acupuncture" is superior to conventional acupuncture in improving lumbar vertebral function and relieving pain symptoms of lumbar disc herniation(p<0.05).Total efficacy:the total effective rate was 100%in the treatment group and 90.62%in the control group. After statistical comparison, there was no statistically significant difference in the total efficacy between the two groups(p>0.05),indicating that the two methods had similar efficacy. Conclusion"Lying needle, acupuncture combined with electroacupuncture and conventional acupuncture combined with electroacupuncture in the treatment of lumbar disc herniation, can effectively improve the patient' s immediate pain, clinical efficacy is exact. However, the "lying acupuncture" method was superior to the conventional acupuncture group in terms of immediate analgesia,short-term analgesia and improvement of lumbar vertebral function, with certain advantages. This method is worthy of promotion and application in the treatment of acute and chronic muscle injury and various kinds of pain.
