| Objective: Observe the clinical efficacy of the Navel-moxibustion with Chinese medicine on treating patients with Lubar intervertebral disc protrusion(LIDP), and compare the improvement of the pain and function of the patients,and to explore the mechanism of the prevention and treatment of LIDP, to provide new ideas and effective method for clinical treatment of LIDP.Methods: 40 patients of LIDP were divided into two groups randomly, a treatment group and a control group, 20 cases for each group. The treatment group were treated with the Navel-moxibustion with Chinese medicine while the control group were treated with the common acupuncture everyday, one week for a course, and lasted for 4 courses. Compared the lumbocrural VAS pain score and JOA function score of the patients before and after treatment.Results:1. Compared the efficacy of the two groups after treatment, the total effective rate of the treatment group was 90.0% while the control group was 95.0%.There was no significant difference between two groups(P>0.05).2. Compared the lumbocrural VAS score of the two groups, waist VAS score was significantly decreased in both groups after treatment(P < 0.05), the comparison between the two groups had no significant difference(P > 0.05).3. Compared the function of lumbar disorders JOA score of the two groups, the JOA scores of the patients of the two groups decreased significantly after treatment(P < 0.05), there was no significant difference between the two groups(P > 0.05).4.There were no adverse accidents during the observation of the two groups.Conclusion: Navel-moxibustion with Chinese medicine therapy is one of effective methods to treat the Lubar intervertebral disc protrusion(LIDP), and it is also one kind of effective method to prevent and treat of lumbar intervertebral disc protrusion, and it is worthy to be promoted clinically. |
