Ancient Literature Research On Gastrointestinal He-sea Points And Effects Of Gastrointestinal He-sea Points On FGID In Rats

Object: Through the sorting and analysis to the ancient literatures of diseases that the lower He-sea points of the Gastrointestinal can cure alone,summing up their laws of clinical applications.On the other hand,observing and congtrasting the effects of the lower He-sea points of the Gastrointestinal on functional Gstrointestinal disorders(FGID) in rats.So as to generalize differences of Zusanli、Shangjuxu and Xiajuxu through the preliminary study.Methods: In the study of ancient literature,Using the Encyclopaedia of Chinese Traditional Medicine as the main retrieve source to search the related literatures,then to establish databases of Zusanli、Shangjuxu and Xiajuxu on alone clinical applications.In the study of experiment,Experimental animals were divided into five randonm groups:group of Normal comparison,group of Model,group of Zsanli,group of Shangjuxu, and group of Xiajuxu.Using the method of cold–restrainting and irregular diet to prepare FGID model rats.Measuring the amount of 5-HT in plasma by ELISA after the intervention of EA.Results:1.Results of the study of ancient literature:(1)Zusanli was applied alone to 33 kinds of diseases in 232 literatures.The proportion of these literatures in clinical departments of TCM is 85% in medical department, 8% in surgical department, 5% in Otolaryngology, and 2% in Ophthalmology.Shangjuxu was applied alone to 14 kinds of diseases in 93 literatures.And all of these literatures are belonged to the medical department of TCM.Xiajuxu was applied alone to 14 kinds of diseases in 67 literatures.The proportion of these literatures in clinical departments of TCM is 84% in medical department, 9% in surgical department, and 7% in Ophthalmology.(2)In medical department of TCM, single Zsanli was expert in three systems:the system of Spleen and Stomach, Limb and Meridian, and Kidney; single Shangjuxu was expert in three systems:the system of Spleen and Stomach, Limb and Meridian, and Blood and boday fluid;single Xiajuxu was expert in three systems:the system of Spleen and Stomach,Blood and boday fluid, and Limb and Meridian.(3)The first three dominant diseases of Zusanli were Edema, Arthralgia, and Stomach pain.The first three dominant diseases of Shangjuxu were Diarrhea, Arthralgia,and Phlegm.And the first three dominant diseases of Xia juxu were Arthralgia, Stomach ache,and Dry lips witn Salivation.2.Results of the study of experiment:(1)Compared to Shangjuxu and Xajuxu, Zusanli took more advantages in weight gain of FGID rats(P<0.05).Shangjux and Xiajuxu had similar effects on weight gain of FGID rats(P>0.05).(2)Zusanli, Shangjuxu and Xiajuxu coud reduce the amount of 5-HT in in plasma.And Xiajuxu had the most self-evident effects(P<0.05) on 5-HT.Conclusion:1.The acupoint that was most applied alone in ancient literatures is Zusanli,then Shangjuxu followed by,and Xiajuxu was least applied alone.And these three acupoints were all expert in the diseases of the system of Spleen and Stomach,Limb and Meridian,and Blood and boday fluid.2.Zusanli has the most significant effect on weight gain of FGID rats and Xiajuxu has the most significant effect on reducing the levels of 5-HT in plasma of FGID rats.
