Clinical Research Of Shengmaisan For Treating QiYin Deficiency Type Of GD And Its Effects On TRAb

Purpose:By exploring the Chinese and Western Medicine’s understanding of Graves’ disease,Observe the changes in clinical symptoms and laboratory indicators improve.Evaluate the clinical efficacy of Shengmaisan Qi Yin Deficiency type of Graves’ disease and its effect on thyrotropin receptor antibody(TRAb).Method:Divide 60 patients with Qi Yin Deficiency type of Graves’ disease into two groups:treatment group and control group, with 30 ones in each group.The 30 ones in the treatment group shall take Modified Shengmaisan on the basis of methimazole treatment, while the 30 ones in the control group only take the basic treatment of methimazole.Comparison the change of thyroid function(FT3、FT4、TSH、TRAb)、symptoms and TCM symptom classification quantitative score from 4 weeks, 8 weeks, 12 weeks to evaluate the efficacy and impact of TRAb.Results: 1. General Information: Two groups of gender, age, before treatment TCM syndrome score and individual symptoms were not significantly different(P>0.05),comparable. 2.symptom score comparison: both of the after treatment are better than before treatment, and the treatment group was better than that in the control group(P <0.05),This shows that the treatment group in improving symptom score and TCM symptoms significantly better than the control group. 3.Comparison of thyroid hormone levels: before treatment were comparable(P>0.05), After treatment, FT3,FT4 were significantly reduced, TSH were increased in the group were statistically significant; between the two groups,treatment group FT3,FT4,TSH significantly better than the control group(P<0.05), indicating the treatment group in improving FT3、FT4,TSH levels were significantly better than the control group. 4.TRAb level comparison:the two groups before treatment(P>0.05) were comparable.Comparison before treatment and after treatment of the two groups,both of the two groups’ TRAb levels after treatment,and TRAb positive rate have decreased.Comparison of the two groups after treatment, the treatment group decreased significantly better than the control group(P<0.05), described Modified Shenmaisan can reduced TRAb levels and TRAb positive rate. 5.Heart rate,more weight:before treatment were comparable(P>0.05);compared with before treatment, both groups’ heart rate decreased after treatment and statistically significant.There was no significant(P>0.05)between the two groups.After treatment,the body weight between the two groups was not statistically significant(P>0.05), This shows that the treatment group in improving heart rate,body weight did not differ between the control group.Conclusion:Based on the above results, the efficacy of the treatment Modified Shengmaisan Qiyin Deficiency type of Graves’ disease is significant, not only can improve the clinical symptoms and signs, to alleviate the suffering of patients and improve the quality of life, but also improve thyroid hormone, TRAb levels and in certain reduce the degree of swelling of the thyroid gland.
