| Objective:1. Observe the acupuncture to the intervention effect of 640 cases of patients with type 2 diabetes, of the syndrome differentiation and treatment of the disease to provide the basis for effective and feasible.Methods:1. The study was based on 2006-2011 in the outpatient department of nanjing university of Chinese medicine acupuncture expert outpatient service, anhui traditional Chinese acupuncture, acupuncture, traditional Chinese acupuncture in jiangsu province and so on dalian university hospital in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus, type 2 diabetes of TCM four diagnostic information collection, maximum variance orthogonal rotation using modern mathematical statistics method, clustering analysis and factor analysis to the combination of statistical treatment, the clinical information of 640 cases retrospectively set into operation, will be in December 2013 in jiangsu province hospital endocrinology clinic’s collection of 110 cases of patients with type 2 diabetes clinical symptoms of forward-looking information into operation group, analyze the law of syndrome, and establish its contribution of syndrome, syndrome connotation and distribution, preliminarily established TCM diagnostic criteria for type 2 diabetes.2. This study through literature study and large sample of medical research, a comprehensive collection of traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) in patients with type 2 diabetes four diagnostic information, using the rigorous design and advanced statistical methods, combined with the expert opinion, analysis the clinical information of type 2 diabetes, through clinical validation, for type 2 diabetes syndrome of TCM syndrome type of gastric heat flourishing, the thermal hysteresis spleen, qi and Yin deficiency, lung injury, tianjin, Yin deficiency type clip stasis, Yin and Yang deficiency of 6.2. 2. Acupuncture and moxibustion therapy in patients with type 2 diabetes have good intervention effect.3.
