| Objective:To investigate gouty arthritis with Chinese and Western medicine in the pathogenesis, diagnosis, treatment, to analysis the current incidence and the situation of research. Our tutor has experienced in treatment of gouty. In this clinic study.we used Bi Xie rheumatism-relieved prescription to treat the dampness-heat syndrome of gouty arthritis, to observe and record the indicators such as pain index of joint function, scores of traditional Chinese medicine syndromes, serum uric acid and ESR, then to analysis and evaluate the curative effect and safety of Bi Xie rheumatism-relieved prescription in treating the dampness-heat syndrome of gouty arthritis.Methods:In this clinic study, we collected 60 patients who were diagnosed as the dampness-heat syndrome of gouty arthritis according to random and comparison law.60 patients were divided into two groups called treatment group and control group, both had 30cases.Patients in control group were treated with basic treatment. Treatment group were treated with the treatment program of control group and Bi Xie rheumatism-relieved prescription both for a period of one month. Dichofenac Diethylammon inuction will be given to patients who cannot suffer pain by chance. We will record the indicators such as the pain index of joint function, scores of traditional Chinese medicine syndromes, serum uric acid, ESR, and then analysis and evaluate the curative effect and safety of Bi Xie rheumatism-relieved prescription through the statistical analysis of the results.Results:Through the treatment group statistics and analysis, the results showed no difference between the treatment group (P>0.05). (1) The clinical symptoms and syndromes of traditional Chinese medicine points:clinical symptoms and syndrome integral all have different degrees of improvement, the treatment group (18 cases had marked effect,8 cases were effectively,4 cases were invalid, the total effective rate was 86.67%; Control group 6 cases had marked effect,12 cases were effectively,12 cases ineffective, the total effective rate was 60.00%. (2) Compared with before treatment, swelling index and joint function of the treatment group and control group after treatment (P<0.01, with statistical significance). (3) blood indicators:the treatment of blood uric acid and blood sedimentation decreased compared with untreatment were statistically significant. (4) The total curative effect and the recurrence rate:total effective rate of treatment group was 90.00%, total effective rate of control group was 66.67%. (5) Acute recurrence rate of treatment group is less than that of control group in three months. During treatment process,2 cases appeared increased defecation with thin qualitative slants.1 case appeared stomach upset. All are back to normal after drug withdrawal.Conclusion:By the preliminary efficacy and safety results, we can find that the curative effect of treatment group with Bi Xie rheumatism-relieved prescription was significantly better than control group:Bi Xie rheumatism-relieved prescription can effectively relieve joint symptoms in the acute phase, have good anti-inflammatory and analgesic effects, improve the syndrome of traditional Chinese Medicine, reduce uric acid and ESR, reduce the recurrent frequency in the chronic remission phase. Its security is good with no obvious side effects. This clinic study provided important clinical evidence for traditional Chinese medicine on prevention and treatment of gout arthritis. |
