Objective: Cervical adenocarcinoma(AC) is less common than squamous cell carcinoma of cervical(SCC) among cervical cancer. However the incidence of adenocarcinoma of cervix has been increasing in recent years. This study was to collect and analyze the clinic pathologic characteristic, diagnosis, treatment of adenocarcinoma of cervix, in order to raise the awareness of this disease. Methods: Review and analyze the clinical data of 49 cervical adenocarcinoma patients who treated in the Department of Gynecologic of Dalian Medical University from Jan 2004~Dec 2014.Results:1. Incidence: Among all the patients, the number of case from2004 to 2007 was 12, the average age of patients was 45.25±11.23 years old; the number from 2008 to 2010 was 18, the average age of patients was 50.28±10.02 years old; the number from 2011 to 2014 was 19, the average age of patients was 48.89±10.32 years old. 2. Clinical performance: 40 patients have a clinical performance of vaginal bleeding, 5 cases have no obvious symptoms, 4 cases have vaginal drainage. 3. Tumor markers: Among the 46 patients with preoperative CA125, the total positive rate was 30.4%. The difference of positive rate between groupⅠA~ⅡA andⅡB~Ⅳ was statistically significant(P﹤0.05),among the 46 patients with preoperative CA199, the total positive rate was 30.4%. The difference of positive rate between group of high differentiation and middle or low differentiation was statistically significant(P﹤0.05).4. In terms of the evaluation of parametrial status, this study had an accuracy of 88.9% and a sensitivity of 33.3%. The accuracy and sensitivity of MR imaging for vaginal invasion were 85.2% and 50%, respectively. In terms of lymph node metastasis, this study had an accuracy of 81.5% and a sensitivity of 66.7%.Conclusions:1. The CA125 level is related to the clinical stage of cervical adenocarcinoma.2. The positive preoperative of CA199 is related to differentiation of cervical adenocarcinoma.3. When MRI used to evaluate parametrial status, the accuracy and negative predictive value is high.
