Purpose:To study the effects of different enteral nutrition on healing of intestinal anastomosis in rats and whether can cause reflux when given fluids below the anastomosis of small intestine.Methods:Fifty four male Sprague-Dawley rats were randomly divided into3groups, each group of18rats were observed in3different points in time (3days,5days,7days after surgery), each time point6rats. Using different ways of Enteral Nutrition:Enteral nutrition catheter over the anastomosis groups (Group O), stoma catheter below Enteral nutrition Group (Group B) and control group (Group C), Comparison of postoperative anastomotic healing of various observation points, Anastomotic bursting presure, hydroxyproline content, Anastomotic tissues were histologically analyzed under the hematoxylin-eosin(HE) staining, Masson staining, the immunohistochemical staining of anti-TGF-β, anti-b-FGF and anti-a-SMA.And observed by means of infusion of methylene blue on anastomotic stoma catheter below group mucosal Aizen, understanding whether there is regurgitation.Results:A total of58rat experiments,4of them died during the experiments in rats: one was ate off by others, another three intraoperative anesthetic overdose, the other rats survived after surgery. Anastomotic bursting presure results in each group:at the same time point average burst pressure in each group showed no significant difference (p>0.05), notes on the healing effects of enteral nutrition on intestinal mechanical properties of rat no significant difference does not affect the intestinal healing results. At various points in time of enteral nutrition on hydroxyproline content of anastomosis between the groups compared with the Control Group, no significant differences (p>0.05), anastomotic collagen formation process is basically the same group, has increased over time, and are able to heal properly, and the amount of different enteral nutrition on the collagen builds have little effect. Anastomotic HE and Masson staining of tissue slices showed:the quantitative analysis of histological scores, each set of basic healing of intestinal anastomosis in histologically consistent. Anastomotic TGF-P, b-FGF organized by immunohistochemical staining showed that TGF-β and α--SMA and b-FGF change is consistent with trends in growth are declining over time, α-SMA first increasing and then decreasing trend, no statistically significant differences between each groups (p>0.05). Study on effects of enteral nutrition on intestinal healing of rats had no significant difference. Observe stoma catheter below group anastomotic intestinal mucosa after infusion of methylene blue are blue-dyed, show that the infusion of regurgitation.Conclusion:The two models of enteral nourishment methods were safety on healing of intestinal anastomosis in rats.Different enteral nourishment methods does not affect the intestinal healing results.The infusion of regurgitation was found in below group.
