Objective: To research the differences related to clinical and prognostic factors of youth and elderly breast cancer patients.Method: Age-group criteria, whichever is ≦35 year-old female patients undergoing surgery and had complete follow-up data included in the patient guoup of young.≧60 years undergoing surgery and female patients with complete follow-up data included in elderly patients. Situation, pathology treatment differences were analyzed retrospectively when treatment Yijishan hospital 1960 cases of female breast cancer patients,119 cases of young breast cancer patients treated with the same period 375 cases of breast cancer in elderly patients. And follow-up between the two groups of 2 years,5 years, compared to the 10-year survivals.[Results]:1.Attendances:elderly patients with breast cancer treatment late, when treatment larger mass, there dimple sign, orange peel syndrome and other performance more than the young patients, the difference was statistically significant(P <0.05).2.Pathology and immumohistochemistry :The two groups are the main invasive ductal carcinoma. The positive rate of breast cancer in elderly patients with ER higher than that in young breast cancer,HER2-positive rate,P53,ki-67,EGFR,CK56 positive rate lower than that in young patients. The difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).3.Treatment:The two groups are mainly modifies radical mastectomy, the difference was not statistically significant(P < 0.05).,but the young patients of breast-conserving surgery, breast reconstruction acceptance rate higher in elderly patients, the difference was statistically significant.Where the law of the elderly group received chemotherapy, radiotherapy and endocrine therapy and follow-up rate than the proportion of young patients with low,the difference was ststistically significant(P<0.05).4.The survival rate:2-year survival of elderly patients than that in young patients with 2-yearsurvival first,five-year and 10-year survival in elderly patients than in young patients is poor.(P<0.05,the differences were statistically significant).Conclusion:1.Young and elderly breast cancer compared to invasive breast cancer strong, rapid development and poor prognosis features.2.Treatment of breast cancer in elderly patients than delay treatment compliance check, and lost to follow-up rate.3.To focus on early diagnosis and treatment of breast cancer, the timing urge patients completed as planned chemotherapy, radiotherapy and hormone therapy, and postoperative patient follow-up,in order to improve the quality of life and improved survival.
