Objective: Breast cancer has been the first place in the incidence of malignant tumors in women, which seriously affects the quality of life of women, and poses a serious threat to women's life and health.Nowadays, the incidence rate of breast cancer has increased significantly, and had the trend to younger and younger.Young breast cancer is generally believed that its biological behavior is strong aggressive and malignant.Although ultrasound imaging is very important for the early detection of breast cancer, there are few reports about the study of breast cancer in young patients. Our aim is to evaluate the differences of ultrasonographic, pathological and immunohistochemical features of breast carcinomas between young and middle-aged and elderly women in the region to provide guidance on the diagnosis and treatment. Methods: Collected the the records of breast patient which cofirmed by pathology in the Liaoning Cancer Hospital from January 2015 to January 2016.Collected the clinicopathological and ultrasound data about these patients which had breast opermion and their masses were examined by immunohistochemistry and histopathologyon.A total of 162 patients of breast cancer were enrolled.According to the different ages,162 patients were divided into the youth-age group(?40 years old,54 cases),middle-age group(41-59 years old,54 cases),old-age group(?60 years old,54 cases).Analyzed the ultrasonographic features, such as irregular form, irregular morphology, spiculated margin, hyperechoic halo, microcalcification, posterior shadowing, axillary lymph node enlargement and pathological features such as infiltrating non-specific carcinoma of grade?,tumor size T3+T4,axillary lymph node metastasis and ER,PR,Her-2.Retrospective analysis was performed to evaluate the differences of ultrasonographic, pathological, features and immunohistochemical features of three groups. Results: Compared with the middle-age group and the old-age group, the youth-age group more commonly presented with spiculated margin, hyperechoic halo, microcalcification, posterior shadowing and axillary lymph node enlargement on ultrasonographic imaging(all P<0.05).There was no significant difference in the irregular form, irregular morphology, aspect ratio>l,blood stream grade,2 to 3 and resistance index>0.7 among the three groups(all P>0.05).The ratios of infiltrating non-specific carcinoma of grade?,tumor size T3+T4,axillary lymph node metastasis of the youth-age group were larger than those of the middle-age group and the old-age group(all P <0.05);The expression positive rates of ER and PR of the youth-age group were lower then those of the middle-age group and the old-age group(all P <0.5);There was no significant difference in the Her-2 among the three groups(all P>0.05).Conclusions: The breast carcinomas of the young women are more commonly presented with larger tumer size, higher pathological grades, more axillary lymph node metastasis, lower expression positive rate of ER,PR and ultrasonographic imaging such as spiculated margin, hyperechoic halo, microcalcification, posterior shadowing and axillary lymph node enlargement. The breast carcinomas of the young women are more commonly presented with higher malignancy, stronger invasiveness and typical malignant ultrasonographic features.
