Clinical Research On Treatment Of Carotid Atherosclerotic Plaque Due To Phlegm Blocking Network With Banxiabaizhutianma Decoction

Objective: To observe the Banxiabaizhutianma Decoction clinical efficacy and its clinical application of security on the treatment of carotid atherosclerosis plaque due to phlegm blocking network and its side effects.At the same time, to explore the carotid atherosclerosis phlegm blocking nework card according to TCM theory of pathogenesis and Banxiabaizhutianma Tianma Decoction mechanism of action of this syndrome.Methods: 60 patients of carotid atherosclerosis plaque will conform to the standards belongs to phlegm obstructing collaterals were randomly divided into treatment group and control group with 30 cases in each group. The control group used routine western drug therapy, while the treatment group on the basis of the conventional drug treatment, given Banxiabaizhutianma decoction half an hour after dinner with one dose daily.In eight weeks as a course of treatment and after a course,analyse the dates of the two groups with SPSS and observe the therapy of efficacy evaluation.Results: After treatment by TCM the Syndrome points, intima- media thickness(IMT) and plaque area were significantly improved(P<0.05)before treatmen. The safety outcome measures have no obvious abnormalities during treatment, and there were no significant adverse reactions during treatment in therapy group. The results illustrate Banxiabaizhutianma decoction in treatment of carotid atherosclerotic plaque areas are significant effect, and no side effects.Conclusion: Banxiabaizhutianma decoction is safe and effective in clinical efficacy of treatment of carotid atherosclerosis phlegm blocking network card and confirmed Huoxuetongluo phlegm blocking network based on the rule of carotid atherosclerosis is reliability.
