Yerba Mate To Improve NAFLD Phlegm-stasis Syndrome Related Indicators Of Self Control Study

Objective:Through self control study to observe the improvement of NAFLD phlegm-blood stasis syndrome related indexes by Yerba mate, and to explore its mechanism of action.Methods:This research adopts the case of self control, given to meet the criteria of this study 60 subjects Yerba mate intervention, 10 g each time, two times a day, for 4 weeks.TCM Syndromes of 4 weeks after the subjects were collected and the related laboratory indicators for statistical analysis.Results:1.The total efficiency rate of NAFLD improved by Yerba mate is 13.33%, the total effective rate of liver function is 13.33%, the total efficiency of four blood lipids is 60%. the total efficiency rate of TCM Syndromes is 35%,the fat body(P=0.014<0.05), chest epigastric fullness(P=0.028<0.05), anorexia and tired of the oil(P=0.031<0.05) are significantly improved,the difference of the others are not stastistically significant(P>0.05). 2.Yerba mate can effectively improve the blood lipid of four indicators, including TC, TG, LDL-C has significant difference(P<0.01), there is no significant difference of HDL-C(P>0.05). 3.Yerba mate can improve the indicators of blood rheology, liver function, platelet function and vasoactive substance, the ESR K value equation has significant difference(P<0.01), the difference of TXB2 is statistically significant(P<0.05), the difference of the others are not stastistically significant(P>0.05).Conclusion:TCM symptom improvement: Yerba mate can obviously improve the NAFLD of phlegm-blood stasis in patients with obesity, body chest epigastric fullness, anorexia and tired of the oil; physical and chemical index improvement: Yerba mate can effectively improve the NAFLD of phlegm-blood stasis syndrome of the four parameters of four blood lipid,the liver function, blood rheology, platelet function and vasoactive physical indicators improved are not obvious; the effects associated with the efficacy of traditional Chinese medicine dampness and dampness, promoting blood circulation and removing blood stasis of Yerba mate,the modern mechanism may be related to regulating blood lipids, improving blood rheology, dilation of blood vessels, protecting vascular endothelium and so on, worthy of further study.
