Clinical Observation Of Combining Massage Therapy With Qiangzhisan To Treat Tourette’s Syndrome

Purpose: Combine massage therapy with qiangzhisan to cure the suffering children. And then observe the changes before and after the treatment. At last, give an objective comment on the effects and widen the cures for Tourette’s Syndrome.Methods: Divide the sixty suffering children into two groups, thirty for each. One is Treatment Group and the other is Comparing Group. Treatment group takes tiapride hydrochloride tablets with water while the other group accepts massage therapy and take qiangzhisan with water. Both receive three courses of treatment. Each course lasts four weeks. Finally observe the effects, twitch symptoms, symptoms of traditional Chinese medicine, side-effects and security.Results: First, comparing the whole effects, the efficiency of Treatment group is 86.7% while the other group is 73.3%. The figures are dealt with via statistics. It is p<0.05. there is some difference. That means Comparing Group has an advantage over Treatment Group. Second, in terms of symptoms of traditional Chinese medicine, Comparing group is 70%, while the other is 36.7%. It is p<0.01 via statistics.Distinct differences happen. That means Treatment Group is superior to the other. Third, the side-effects of the both are3.3%and 26.3%. After dealt with in statistics, it is p<0.05.The result has great significance in statistics, which means Treatment Group has an advantage in security.Conelusion: Adopt yishenqiangzhi therapy to set massage therapy, and then take qiangzhisan to cure for Tourette’s Syndrome. It’s obvious that the effects is better and side-effects is lower than tiapride hydrochloride tablets.
