Relieving Fatigue Ointment Massage With Moxibustion On Treating Chronic Fatigue Syndrome

Objective: To observe the curative effect of relieving fatigue ointment massage with moxibustion on treating chronic fatigue syndrome.Methods: 60 patients with chronic fatigue syndrome who met the diagnostic criteria and inclusion criteria were randomly assigned to the treatment group(30 cases) and control group(30 cases) and treated three times a week, 9 times for a course. After a course of treatment, each group was observed in the safety, efficacy, symptoms and signs comprehensive scores, and the clinical efficacy of each group were compared and analyzed.Results: ①Treatment and control groups of patients with gender, age, course of disease, as there was no significant difference(P> 0.05), are comparable. ②Fatigue symptom scores between the two groups had no significant difference before treatment(P> 0.05) and had significant differences after treatment(P< 0.05). Besides, fatigue symptom scores had significant differences before treatment before and after treatment in treatment group(P <0.01) and control group(P<0.05). ③Fatigue rating scale scores had significant differences between the two groups after treatment(P <0.01) and before and after treatment in treatment group(P <0.01) and in control group(P <0.05). ④There were significant differences in total efficacy rate and significant effective rate between the two groups(both P <0.01).Conclusion: the curative effect of relieving fatigue ointment massage with moxibustion on treating chronic fatigue syndrome is reliable. There is a great advantage in improving the quality of patients’ life, relieving tension and fatigue and so on. This treatment therapy is effective, simple, easy to use spread, which is better than simple acupuncture treatment. It deserves clinical popularization and application.
