Objective: To investigate the association of osteoporosis and metabolic syndrome.Method: To gather the clinical data of 566 cases of bone mineral density(BMD),including patients’ sex, age, blood pressure,FPG,the duration of disease, menopause, bone broken,BMI, Ca, 2hPG, FINS, HbA1 C, CHOL, TG, HDL-C, LDL-C, HOMA-IR, GFR to compare the difference among bone mass normal group, bone mass low group and osteoporosis group.According to the sex, age,BMI, CHOL, TG, HDL-C, LDL-C and HbA1 C, HOMA-IR, GFR of 260 cases diabetes mellitus patients those patients were classified in different subgroups, to compare the difference proportion of osteoporosis between different subgroup, and then used by multiple linear regression analysis.Result: 1.There were 198 patients with osteoporosis in 566 patients of bone mineral density, the proportion was 35%.In terms of age,BMI,Ca,HDL-C,GFR,hypertension and duration of hypertension, menopause in osteoporosis group was difference with in bone mass normal group. In terms of age,BMI,Ca,CHOL,LDL-C was difference with in bone mass low group. In terms of age,2hPG,HDL-C,GFR in bone mass low group was difference with in bone mass normal group(P<0.05).2.Among 566 patients of bone mineral density, the proportion of male and female was 0.429:1. There was no difference between men and women.3.The osteoporosis proportion of menopause group was higher than non-menopause group.4.566 patients were divided into different groups according to age, there were difference in proportion of osteoporosis among different groups. With age increasing, the proportion of osteoporosis was higher.5.To compare with obesity and overweight group, the proportion of osteoporosis of BMI≤23.9 kg/m2 group was higher. With BMI increasing, the proportion of osteoporosis was lower.6.The proportion of osteoporosis in high blood pressure group was higher.7.The proportion of osteoporosis in CHOL normal subgroup was higher and HDL-C normal subgroup was higher too.8.There were 260 patients with diabetes mellitus, the proportion of osteoporosis was 35.4%.In diabetes mellitus subgroups, the proportion of osteoporosis was no difference in HbA1 C, HOMA-IR and GFR subgroups.9.To regard the proportion of osteoporosis as the dependent variable Y, and patients’ sex, age, blood pressure,FPG,the duration of disease, menopause, bone broken,BMI, 2hPG, FINS, HbA1 C, CHOL, TG, HDL-C, LDL-C, HOMA-IR, GFR as the independent variable X, proceed multiple linear regression analysis, detection rate of osteoporosis and HDL-C are in positive correlation and indicating that the age, menopause are the independent risk factors of the patients suffering from osteoporosis. In diabetes mellitus subgroups,to regard the proportion of osteoporosis as the dependent variable Y, and patients’ sex,HBA1 C, FPG, 2hPG, FINS,HOMA-IR,GFR,diabetes mellitus, the duration of disease as the independent variable X, proceed multiple linear regression analysis, and indicating that diabetes mellitus of long duration is the susceptible factor of osteoporosis.Result:1. The proportion of combining with menopause, hypertension and long duration of hypertension in osteoporosis group was significantly higher.2.To compare with obesity and overweight group, the proportion of osteoporosis of BMI≤23.9 kg/m2 group was higher. With BMI increasing, the proportion of osteoporosis was lower.3.Age,menopause are the independent risk factors of the patients suffering from osteoporosis, HDL-C and detection rate of osteoporosis are in positive correlation. With age increasing, the proportion of osteoporosis was higher.4. Diabetes mellitus of long duration is the susceptible factor of osteoporosis.
