Clinical Studys On Effects And Mechanism Of Xiongzhi Decoction In The Migraine Syndromes Of Liver-Wind Dynamic And Stagnant Blood Disorder

Objectives:To study the clinical effects and mechanism of xiongzhi decoction on the syndrome of Liver-Wind dynamic disorder and stagnant blood migraineMethods:Total subjects were randomized into two groups:treatment group in which 44 case were treated with xiongzhi decoction 125ml twice a day and control group in which 44 case wit flunarizine capsule 5mg per night,both with a course of 3 months.The headache integral,the pai integral and the symptom scale before and after treatment were used to evaluate effects xiongzhi decoction.Through observations with hemorrheology,serum of 5-hydroxytryptamine、 Calcitonin gene related peptide、Nitric oxide and other index before and after treatment i patients, to explore the mechanism of xiongzhi decoction,and evaluated the safety of xiongzh decoction.Results:(1)The headache integral,the pain integral and the symptom scale decreased in bot group.the difference before and after treatment were significantly in the inner-group(P<0.01),th difference after treatment were significantly in the inter-group(P<0.01).The treatment group wa better(P<0.01).(2)the efficiency considerable in the headache integral,the pain integral of eac group,the difference of the constituent ratio in the improvement degree were significant (P<0.01),the treatment group was better. The symptom scale was better i the treatment group than in the control group(P<0.01).The improvement on the quality of lif index showed no difference in two groups(P>0.05).(3)The hemorrheology in two group showe no difference,only the red blood cell (RBC) deformed exponent in treatment group showe significantly difference compared with control group(P<0.05).(4)Serum of 5-HT, CGRP, NO ha improved in both group,the treatment group was better.(5)Side effect:1 mild nausea and 1 mil abdominal distension patients were discoverd in treatment group,2 hypersomnia patients wer discoverd in control group,those reactions disappeared after the adjustment of time and metho in medication.(6)Blood routine, urine routine,liver function,renal function before and afte treatment showed no obvious abnormality.Conclusions:xiongzhi decoction was quite effective for the syndromes of Liver-Wind dynamic disorder an stagnant blood migraine,the effects were better than flunarizine capsule.
