The Clinical Research Of Treatment Of Postoperative Colorectal Cancer Patients With FOLFOX Regimen And Jianpi Yiqi Decotion

Objective:On the basis of FOLFOX chemotherapy treatment, the research is on the short-term curative effect of Jianpi Yiqi decotion in the postoperative colorectal cancer patients, and the decreasing toxicity and increasing efficacy of the decotion. It is to provide clinical basis and theoretical basis for the therapeutic principle research of the treatment of postoperative colorectal cancer patients with chemotherapy and traditional Chinese medicine.Methods:40 cases are included in the standard of postoperative patients with colorectal cancer. They are randomly divided into the treatment group and the control group (n=20). FOLFOX chemotherapy is used in both groups, and Jianpi Yiqi decotion is used in the treatment group with combination chemotherapy. Every 4 weeks is a cycle. After two consecutive cycles, compare two groups of patients’ weight, tumor markers, physical condition, improvement of syndromes, the quality of life and adverse reaction of chemotherapy. And a quantitative score as a curative effect evaluation index will be taked. At last, the statistical analysis of the differences of the above indicators between two groups will be maked.Results:(1) In terms of weight, after the treatment, there are 12 cases of increase,6 cases of stable and 2 cases of decrease in the treatment group. While there are 4 cases of increase,9 cases of stable and 7 cases of decrease in the control group. There is a significant difference (P <0.05), which indicates that Jianpi Yiqi decotion can prevent patients’ loss of weight after chemotherapy.(2) In terms of tumor markers, there are no significant differences between two groups’ CEA, CA199 before or after the treatment(P>0.05), which indicates that there is no obvious improvement of tumor markers in this study.(3) In terms of physical conditions, after the treatment, the patients’ KPS scores of the treatment group are higher than those of the control group. There is a statistically significant difference in the treatment group between the patients’ KPS scores of two groups (P<0.05). It indicates that Jianpi Yiqi decotion combined with chemotherapy has an advantage in improving patients’ physical conditions.(4) In the aspect of TCM symptoms, there are 7 cases of marked effect,11 cases of general effect and 2 cases of ineffectiveness in the treatment group. The total effective rate is 90%. There are 3 cases of marked effect,8 cases of general effect and 9 cases of ineffectiveness in the control group. The total effective rate is 55%. There is a statistically significant difference between the two (?) (P< 0.05), which indicates that Jianpi Yiqi decotion combined with chemotherapy has an advantage in improving clinical symptoms of traditional Chinese medicine for postoperative colorectal cancer patients. (5) In terms of quality of life, after the treatment, the patients’ QOL scores of the treatment group are higher than those of the control group. The differences between the patients’ QOL scores of two groups are statistically significant (P<0.05). It indicates that Jianpi Yiqi decotion has significant advantages in improving patients’ quality of life. (6) In terms of security, the side reaction of the treatment group is less than that of the control group, which is mainly reflected in the digestive tract reaction (P<0.05). There was no statistically significant difference in the rest of the reaction (P>0.05).It indicates that Jianpi Yiqi decotion can reduce the side reaction of FOLFOX chemotherapy, but mainly on the digestive tract reaction.Conclusion:When postoperative colorectal cancer patients are treated by FOLFOX chemotherapy, Jianpi Yiqi decotion can alleviate the adverse reaction of chemotherapy and improve the patient’s clinical symptoms and quality of life.
