Objective:To study the the clinical features and treatment of patients with multiple endocrine neoplasia1, improve the level of awareness.Methods:Retrospectively analyse the clinical data of four MEN-1patients who were treated in The Sir Run Run Shaw Hospital from April2013to October2014.Results:All of the patients have parathyroid adenoma, three of the four patients have diagnosed with pancreatic neuroendocrine tumors, one highly suspected of it, and one patient with pituitary tumors, clinical manifestationgs varies with the invoved glands. All the patiens eventually had surgery, got the tumors removed.Literature study:MEN-1is inherited as an autosomal dominant disorder with a high degree of penetrance, endocrine tumors can occur in various target organs. Its causative gene is located on chromosome11q13. There are more than20kinds og endocrine tumors in MEN-1in know. The clinical manifestations of MEN-1are related to the sites of the tumors and their products of secretion. The treatment of MEN-1is similar to the none MEN-1patients, surgery first, supplemented by internal medicine treatment, chemotherapy, molecular targeted drugs and so on.Conclusion:We should pay attention to the diagonosis of the MEN-1, diagnosis and treat it early. It requires comprehensive multidisciplinary consultation.
