Research Objective:This study investigated the CURB-65scoring system used in chronic obstructive pulmonary disease with acute exacerbation (AECOPD) the severity of the patient’s condition and the value of short-term prognosis.Research Methods:A, retrospective analysis of the Affiliated Hospital of Chengdu University of Traditional Chinese Check the date AECOPD patients diagnosed143cases of clinical data2011.1-2014.1. According to CURB-65score criteria will be divided into mild, moderate and severe three groups, focusing from the CURB-65score and the number of days of hospitalization, mechanical ventilation type, number of days of antibiotic use, lung function, sputum culture positive rate of complications and expand the correlation between complications and prognosis evaluation, and the final outcome of patients survive30days divided into groups and as a short-term prognosis of death group.Research Results:143cases of AECOPD patients, male93cases, female50cases, with an average age of (76.063±9.484) years old, CURB-65average score (1.867±0.913) points. CURB-65score on the severity classification,50cases were low-risk, medium risk67cases,26cases of high risk. Within30days of hospitalization and21deaths (14.7%mortality). Survival of patients on admission CURB-65score was significantly lower than the group of death, death group CURB-65score was (3.143±0.964) minutes, the survival group CURB-65score was (1.648±0.703) points.143cases diagnosed AECOPD patients with conventional therapy (97cases) CURB-65score was (1.516±0.614) points, noninvasive ventilation (29cases) CURB-65score was (2.241±0.830) points invasive ventilation (17cases) score was (3.235±0.970) points, CURB-65score higher in patients with severe illness, worse lung function, the worse the prognosis. Which according to the severity of the death group (FEV1, blood, bacterial infection rate, mechanical ventilation rate assessment) and CURB-65scoring system to determine the case in high-risk groups. CURB65score and the severity and prognosis was significantly positively correlated (P<0.05).Conclusion:CURB-65score system can accurately determine the chronic obstructive pulmonary disease in patients with acute exacerbation of disease severity and short-term prognosis, and the scoring system has advantages over other more simple and easy, worthy of clinical application.
