Objectives: To investigate Tumor necrosis factor-α gene-308genotypes frequency distribution inCOPD ofxinjiang Uighur population,to detect its polymorphisms in different with or withoutsmoking history and clinical phase with COPD,provide the relevant data for studying in differentethnic groups. Methods: The research design was a case-control study.Through PCR product sequencing methodwas used to detect the polymorphism of TNF-α gene in the distribution of80COPD patients and80control group Xinjiang Uighur population.Use SPSS17.0statistical software analysis to analysisthe correlation of the COPD susceptibility xinjiang Uighur population and the distribution ofdifferent genotype frequency,And comparing with the genotype distribution of other races.Results:1. The GG genotype is the most important in COPD patients and control group;and thefrequency of GG,GA,AA genotype were2.5%,22.5%,5.0%and90.0%,8.8%,1.2%respectively;The frequencies of A homozygous genotype were16.2%and5.6%,A statisticdifference was found in their frequencies(p<0.05).2. There were no significant differences(p>0.05)in different with or without smoking history and clinical phase with COPD.3. Statisticalanalysis showed that A allele frequency COPD group (16.2%) than the control group (5.6%)(p<0.05),after adjustment for sex, age, smoking history, showed association with this genotype(p>0.05);May be this associated with the risk of COPD (p=0.01,OR=3.026,95%CI=1.306-7.026).4.The study and research compared with the results of at home and abroad suggest:compared withthe research of Guizhou Han, Buyi, Miao and English comparison, there are statisticallysignificant differences between the three genotypes (p<0.05),Compared with the Germans,Caucasian, Mongolia people, there are no statistically significant differences between the threegenotypes (p>0.05).Conclusion: The polymorphism of TNF-α gene-308genotypes was statistically significant inCOPD patients and healthy controls in xin jiang Uighur population;associated with thesusceptibility to COPD.And A allele may be susceptible genes of COPD.Its polymorphisms indifferent with or without smoking history and clinical phase with COPD are no statisticallysignificant. The gene polymorphism in the distribution of differences between different races.
