Objective: To discuss the difference between diabetics and patients without diabetes which accompanywith bacterial liver abscess and provide basis to the diagnose and therapy.Method: Retrospective analysis of clinical data of75patients with bacterial liver abscess,28cases ofdiabetes complicated with bacterial liver abscess,47cases of bacterial liver abscess without diabetes.Tocompare the clinical manifestation and laboratory tests and liver abscess characteristics and therapies andcurative effect in2groups.Result:There was no statistically significant difference of two groups of age and gender(P>0.05),Signs andsymptoms of abdominal pain,abdominal tenderness on similar between the two groups was statisticallysignificant (P<0.05),laboratory tests in the two groups:white blood cell count,total bilirubin,directbilirubin,indirect bilirubin and blood platelet count>300×109/L proportion difference was statisticallysignificant(P<0.05);the difference between Pus culture positive rate and rate of pneumonia Klebsiellabacillus training was statistically significant (P>0.025).Two groups of treatment and prognosis there wereno significant difference (P>0.025).Conclusion:Symptoms and signs in patients with diabetes complicated with liver abscess is not obviousand be easily misdiagnosed and be complicated by other infections--Klebsiella pneumoniae see more.Clinictreatment should be emphasized effective control of blood sugar,adequate use of antibioticsreasonably,individual therapy of vomica and nutrition support.Hospitalization cost would be lower and thecurative effect would be improved.
