Objective: To observe the clinical curative effect of warming and invigorating thespleen and kidney, promoting blood and diuresis in treating type2diabetes mellituscomplicated with primary hypothyroidism, To observe the improvement in symptoms andlaboratory indexes of the type2diabetic patients with primary hypothyroidism patients, and provide a theoretical basis for clinical treatment. Methods: There were522type diabetic patients with primary hypothyroidism whowere randomly divided into treatment group and control group using a randomized controlmethod,30cases in the treatment group and22cases in the control group. All subjectsunderwent therapy when they were in the treatment, and the treatment group based on thetreatment with Chinese herbal medicine Jiawei Shenqi Tang, and the control group withoutthem. During8weeks’time of observation, the main observation indicators are clinicalsymptoms, body mass index (BMI), thyroid function, fasting blood glucose (FPG),postprandial blood glucose (2hPG), glycosylated hemoglobin (HbAlC), fasting insulin(FIns), insulin resistance index (HOMA-IR), tumor necrosis factor-α(TNF-α), blood lipidliver function, renal function, blood routine, ECG, etc..Results: Through the clinical observation, the treatment group in improving clinicalsymptoms and related indexes has a significant advantage over the control group, and in theimprovement of thyroid function, reduce blood sugar, improve insulin resistance and so onare significantly better than the control group (P<0.05). And patients with liver and renal function, blood routine test and electrocardiogram in treatment of no abnormal change, also have no adverse reaction, has good safety. Conclusion: Warming and invigorating the spleen and kidney, promoting blood anddiuresis in treating type2diabetes mellitus complicated with primary hypothyroidism cansignificantly improve the clinical efficacy and the clinical symptoms of patients andthyroid function, blood glucose and other indicators with a drug safety, showing theeffectiveness of the treatment of TCM, to provide the basis for clinical treatment.. |
